Perkins won last year's game 40-0

I don't believe Perkins has lost so much that (nor has Sandusky gained so much) that Sandusky will take this one. It'll be a dogfight, though - shame they chose Thursday, as I'm working then, but not Friday night.
Perkins 23 Sandusky 14
Throwing that out there.

It will come down to Sandusky's defense, I think they have more offensive weapons than Perkins, especially with the qb who looked really good against St. Francis. Sandusky has speed and weapons but their defense is questionable. Like always, the team with the least amount of turnovers wins the game.

Sandusky usually has a better group of athletes but lack the conditioning and discipline will be their downfall.
We will see if the loss of Coach Quisno from the Pirate sideline will be a factor.
Perkins 24 Sandusky 14

Sandusky is looking really good, Perkins is playing not all that bad. Streaks are dominating in the trenches and team speed is incredible.

I believe thee loss of Coach Quisno has had a detrimental effect on the Pirates. But , this is not the only problem.
Got to give the Streaks some credit.

So at 18 points this is actually the closest margin in the series history, and is also the first time that both teams have scored more than 1 TD.
2016 Sandusky 31-13 2015 Perkins 40-0 2014 Perkins 31-0 2013 Perkins 47-7 2012 Perkins 35-7 2011 Sandusky 27-0 2010 Sandusky 28-7 2009 Perkins 28-0

A big congrats to the Streaks on their win. The loss of certain members of the coaching staff (combine with the retention of some others) may make this a long nine weeks for the Pirates. That doesn't diminish what Sandusky has done so far, some real program-building.

Congratulations Streaks!!!
It always brings a smile to my face when I see the Blue Streaks get a win over the pirates. Even though it potentially hurt's Port Clinton in the long run.

Quisno wouldn't have made a difference in the overall outcome because the game was not even close. Sandusky has a talented offense around the qb and if he plays well, they can put up points against a lot of teams. I think the season will be all about the defense this year. If the defense plays ok, the offense can win them some games this year. I don't think Sandusky at Huron next week will be very close as well. The Fremont/Sandusky game could be a dogfight.

I concur about you assessment of the Sandusky/Huron game . Heard from my friends in Fremont that it's a down year over there . They are usually really truthful with me on that subject.

This game was not close. Perkins points were scored after the game was in the bag for the Streaks.
