They don't really have burners on offense, so that bodes well for OSU. Everyone seems to think they will score 100 against us, not seeing it being as easy as they hope it will be. Name one good offensive team they have faced. In this day and age, you gotta be able to pass and score to win. We've done it all season. That part has been consistent. I think OSU is healthier than they have been all year, not sure UM can say that. The one aspect where I expect UM to be better than other years is that their QB has been good, not great. Other years their QB cost them the game. I don't expect Patterson to do that this year. Actually this is probably the best downfield passing team Michigan has had under Harbaugh. I think you may be mistaking a lack of gaudy number’s for lack of ability. DPJ, Collins and Black have each shown the ability to take the top off a defense. Winovich is playing and so is Bushell-Beatty. Winovich and Bushnell-Beatty are playing at what % ?

Winovich about 90% and JBB 85%. Winovich is believed to have bruised ribs. JBB has been nursing a tender knee for awhile but the main reason he was yanked last week was the flu.

I think UM deserves to be favored based on how the season has gone and how the teams are on "paper". That being said,,being favored means zilch. How you are on paper in this game means zilch. Just ask the 69' 93' 95' 96' OSU teams. Ask the 15' Wolverine team. History of game results if anything tells us where and what usually happens. If I were the OSU Coach and had a strategy going into this game--and this is based on the season and the way it has gone--Take the opening kickoff even if you win the toss. This goes against the norm of what we have done. I think OSU needs to get ahead in this game early. Reason: confidence and putting a little doubt in the minds of UM.It also will get the crowd involved. Another thing, pull out a trick play unused all season, such as a fake punt or fake fg. We have to tip the scales in our favor somehow. Film study usually shows tendencies on special teams, am hoping we found something to exploit.
Urban is 6-0 vs UM at Ohio State. urban is 90+ % winner in rivalry games as an all time head coach. Urban is 30-0 in games that start at Noon at Ohio State---This I just heard yesterday,,,unbelievable stat. I'd push for a noon start every game if I were him.

You know why he’s 30-0 in noon starts? It’s because noon starts are reserved for chump opponents. It’s easy to go 30-0 when your opponents are the Rutgers and Tulsa’s of the world. Not impressed at all by that particular stat line. The 90% win rate against rivals is truly impressive however.

The refs are pretty impressive. They give Michigan a whole extra yard on every play. 1st and 10, run for 2. Refs give them 3 2nd and 7, run for 2. Refs give them 3 3rd and 4 instead of 3rd and 6
Spot the ball right refs.

We paid off the refs. When series gets lopsided, funds get depleted. Zebras love the cash.

He caught that pass on the 43, I re-winded and slow mo'd. should be 4th and 3. Nice spot refs

Oh, and the sack before that play the refs moved it up 1 yard for Michigan. Who ordered this extra yard for Michigan ever offensive play? Jim Delaney? That should have been 4th and 4 instead of 4th and 2. Michigan false started, but doesn't change the fact the refs keep giving Michigan an extra yard every play.

One,two, skip a few, first down! Spotting of ball has been atrocious to say the least.

Refs were fair on that drive. Good job refs, just call it fair

Ohio State is up 14-6, so if the refs call it fair the rest of the way and OSU loses I can't complain. But as of right now they have been loose with the spot for Michigan.

Meanwhile, I'm to the point I don't have enough funds for a Happy Meal. Side note; trading FGs for TDs won't cut it for Maize and Blue

Bucks will step up, and UM/Harbaugh will soil their khakis in crunch time. I hate saying this, but...... Uncle Jake has seen this script, before

Arnette interferes with the opposing player on every play of every drive of every game it feels like. Glad to see Schiano chew him out. Arnette bails out the opposing offense on 3rd down once again, he does it every game with a pointless interference.

Arnette with his stupid 3rd down penalty, he's always in position but can't keep his hands off the receivers has now swung all momentum to Michigan.
Arnette, Pryor and #20 are the 3 players that have killed this defense all season. Pryor got benched. Keep Arnette on the bench.

Is it just me or should that last play been reviewed? Awful close to his foot touching in endzone and ball in hand i thought

Despite playing their worst defensive half of the year Michigan is only down 5. Michigan has to get pressure on Haskins. The performance of the dline has been absolutely pathetic on every snap.

Playing their worst defensive half of the year, because they're playing against BY FAR the best QB and two deep set of WR's they've faced this season. It wouldn't even be close if not for so much lack of football intellect from Ohio State players. Winovich isn't close to 90%.
U of M's #28 is worse than Ohio State's Arnett and that is BAD.
U of M has gone to zone to help their Corners who aren't good enough to cover Ohio State's speed WRs.
Haskins has only been accurate and making good decisions on about 1/2 of his passe, good enough to keep drives moving.

I agree, The officiating looks a little shady. The spots favor Xichigan. Why no reviews ? Targeting on Haskins ? 1st Xichigan TD ? But make sure we review a Buckeyes score.

Devin Bush isn't fast enough to cover Ohio State WRs.
