OAC Championships weight throw results from locals competing
Women- 1st. Brooke Buckhannon (BW) (Western Resvere) 53ft 9in 13th. Victoria Ramage (ONU) (Western Reserve) 45ft 8in
No local men competing Winning throw was 61ft 11in by Zak Dysert of Baldwin Wallace

Thanks Cab24! Nothing too major although I see a couple of 170's in the discus. Those are considerable throws and could possible win it for either if they are both in D2 and D3. Last year D2 and D3 won with 160+ throws, and DI took a 190+... Good to see.

Top four in the shot put in the Genoa D2 Northwest District. Nice that it takes over 51 just to get to regionals.... I am assuming they only advance top 4 still?

Thanks. I probably was looking at the wrong result but I thought it even showed the placement points next to it. in any event, Good Lord..... 52 feet and change just to get out of districts... Shades of Bellevue districts, circa 1982... (I think it was Bellevue...once I was officially done, we had a senior party that evening and I proceeded to kill quite a few brain cells... )

Davis Hedrick went 56-11 to break Shot Put Perkins D3 District record, old record was 54-02 set in 2007 by Eastwood's Dalton Andrews
Trey Leroux went 56-02.5 to break Cooper Tire Track and Field Complex stadium record at Findlay HS, previous record was set last year by Tyler Ross of Celina at 55-09.25
