If this has been discussed before, I apologize for not seeing it. Strong chance we will be moving after this school season to another town/school district about 30 minutes away. Will our kids have to sit out a year or is that not a concern since we will be living in that new town, minutes from new school. Also probably will be late enrollment (summer time Im guessing) since not 100% confirmed as of yet, but pretty damn sure it will be.

Reading the bylaws they will be immediately eligable since the whole family is moving to that district.

Get to the new school as soon as you know what your new address will be. Even on a "move" you still have to fill out OHSAA paperwork at the new school. The new school must check that you gave them correct residence info. Then the paperwork is sent to the OHSAA. Your kids are not "officially" allowed to play sports until the OHSAA gives their permission. Which they do 99% of the time. But if you wait to the last minute, paperwork on "moves" from all over the State can back up and their approvals can back up. And if they play a fall sport there could be a delay for when they can begin practicing. Which in most cases is a month before school starts.
