Akron SVSM won 58-49 Akron SVSM the last 10 years in the OHSAA Tournament 52-1 vs Public Schools - stubbed their toe vs New Concord John Glenn in the 2016 State Final 10-5 vs Private Schools Akron Buchtel has made 6 District Finals in the last 10 years, they were 0-5 before this year with all 5 losses to you guessed it, private schools, 0-3 vs Akron SVSM. I wonder if Buchtel's Chris Livingston stays there, ends up at ASVSM or one of the private school national basketball factories? The 6-5 Freshman averaged 24.3, made 1st team All-Ohio. He's considered the #2 shooting guard in his class in the country.

Sorta related to the topic of Noss at Willard. Former Willard freshman coach and Liberty assistant, Mark Hess was released at Beavercreek.

Never was told a specific reason but the statement was made that a winning season there was not common.

Before all your efforts with prior 2 posts, when you allow the competition 15 successive points early in the game w/o calling a timeout earlier, you're begging for trouble. Yeah, a timeout MAY have helped, but Liberty wasn't PLAYING poorly....they were SHOOTING poorly. And there WAS a media timeout mid 2nd quarter. So Nossaman was probably just trying to coax Liberty in to making a shot, while saving his timeouts for later? That 15-0 run wasn't 15-0, but it was 12-0, yet as quiet a 12-0 run that I can remember that took 7 full minutes to occur! Even down 16, I didn't feel that ASVSM was really THAT much better than Liberty. The "feel" in the arena wasn't that of a blowout, or even a game that was headed that way. More like people shaking their heads at the gang who couldn't shoot straight. There were 4 straight up AIRBALL 3 point attempts in the 1st half by Liberty guards.

It blows me away he's taken 2 schools to Columbus considering he grew up in a community that was all about Football and could give 2 squats about basketball.

For as much Ross was a Football power, conversely, it was a traditional Buckeye doormat. His Sr year Little Giants went 2-19.

Don't be so shocked, Tom Brady went the Michigan and it's a basketball school.
