Not sure how Huron will be. I know they have a talented Freshman class coming up, but not sure there is anyone talented enough to make an immediate varsity impact. Perkins should be solid, they have a good point guard (Spitler I believe his name is) and some good athletes around him. I'm sure St. Mary's will have some ball players, but they have been underachieving for years it seems like (They don't play much defense). Any thoughts?

Huron's varsity has no size, Gonna be an all 'guard' team that shoots 3's, and that's all. Huron's JV team may not win a game, not very good. Huron freshman is real good, may not lose a game.

If Huron JV's will be so bad, wouldn't you expect a few of the real good Freshman to be on the JV team?

Again look out for Dom Barnes out of Huron I'm told he's made a real attitude adjustment since the chair throwing incident and my sources say he averaged 25 a game in AAU ball this summer

AAU can be closer to open gym than high school basketball. Huron is well coached and should do okay this season.

Don't know if Barnes was there, but I didn't see anyone who would be close to averaging 25 in AAU this summer. Huron finished 2-7 in the scrimmage at Ontario with Harding and Upper.

Fillmore- another incident with Barnes. Missed the bus this afternoon. Had an overnight shift over at Pouses Tractor so I can't blame him for sleeping in. Coach James doesn't seem to mind, thinks Barnes will be ready for the start of the year.

I can confirm Barnes missed the team bus.. As for Hurons poor showing in the scrimmage I'm also told that Austin Gardner was out with a minor tweak to his ankle but remains firm in his commitment to the Huron program and the Cincinnati Bearcats where he plans to play next fall.
Also Fillmore do you know Seymour?

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'm about sick of all these false posts by the millennial population. There is no player by the name of Dominic Barnes out of Huron.... It's sickening that these kids are finding a sick pleasure out of making these absurd comments.
With this being said, the real threat is coming out of Vermillion. With Bob Corker coming out of the summer off season averaging 18, 5, and 5, the SBC is in for some serious trouble. The only hope the league has to stop Corker, is from the play of stud/superstar Jeff Sessions. This guy is no joke. He plays with a fire that is reminiscent of the way that Chris Baldwin used to bring to the court.
Mark my words, Sessions vs Corker will be the matchup to watch this season.

Willard- was at the local duplicated bridge tournament today in Westlake, didn't see you there. I was scouting it out, think I may join the next tournament. I'll bring Mr.Barnes so you can meet Him for yourself. Mr Barnes is the number one ranked Baccarat player in the U.S. Far more talent and skill than you. Go tigers

Butch- can confirm that Corker is a player. Family moved in from Missouri, 'my cousin told me that his older brother was all state and ended up playing at a small Juco in TX. Excited to see him compete. Also excited to see Kolahan (spelling?) take the reigns for the Sailors. I expect major dirt action from the Sailors in 2016-17. Go tigers

Go tigers More LIES, the only Sectional Tournament in Ohio in the month of November was in Parma 11/4 - 11/6. Small potatoes. You don't "join" tournaments, you pay entry fees to compete in them, $15-$20/day. Westlake has a "Club" game. The only Club games I play at are in Mansfield, Marion and Ashland. In the past I have played Club games in Mt. Vernon and Wooster. Baccarat is a game of chance played in Casinos. Duplicate Bridge is a game of intellect with very little luck involved. The more you try the more you prove what little intellect you have. How embarrassing for you.

Fillmore- you must be in the Amateur league. My uncle Billy "Dickbone" Bridgewater is the top ranked duplicate bridge player in Northeastern OH and confirmed with me that there was a tournament yesterday. He said the Parma tournament was for senior citizens only, which explains why it was hosted at a nursing home. You must be in the top 2% of 65+ league.

One does not play against another individual in Duplicate Bridge. Pairs(2) play against other pairs in Pair Games OR Teams of at least 4 players play against other teams in Swiss Team or Knock Out events.
