Agree with bighoss about Muhammad, I think they do play better right now with him on bench unfortunately. He is a liability on offense, hopefully he can get out of it. He plays hard and good defense but other than that he is a liability. If Washington can play good defense he can be a huge asset. Walker was bad on offense last night but did knock down two big free throws at the end of the game.

What a strange call to deal with as an official. It changed the completion of the game in OSU’s favor for sure. As you watch the team play these last 3 games,,clearly different than the previous 6-7. D wash and Young being healthy,, mean a lot. Add a revitalized DJ Carton and maybe we’re back to the early season OSU Don't expect to see Carton any time soon. Mental illness/depression can't be "revitalized". As a matter of fact, only continued medication can ease his illness.

Wow. Getting handled by a former osu player who wasnt good enough to start for the bucks and a very mediocre wisconsin team. Tells you all you need to know about this team and program right now.

This team is so confusing. Won 3 in a row, good win against Michigan, and then lay an egg this first half. 16-0 run to end the half? That’s a lack of heart.

Currently down 24. What an atrocious showing. I get that the Big Ten is tough but this is unacceptable. Kaleb Wesson has been terrible again. CJ Walker has been terrible too, his offense for several games now has been gone. It also seems like almost all of Wisconsin’s shots are easy and with no pressure whereas ours are either forced or a guy right in our face. Maybe Holtmann needs to change his offensive schemes?

Unfortunately, a new offensive scheme won’t fix missed layups, missed FT’s, losing the ball on your way to the rim, ground-ball passes that Francisco Lindor couldn’t field, etc.

Ohio State can learn from Wisconsin and how they move the ball. The shooting has been horrible though, that one shot from Liddell at the free throw line was literally a line drive out of his hand. Clank.

Clank. I will say that despite some ugly shots and offensive possessions, Liddell did show some small flashes at times. Regardless, the Buckeyes had a chance to ride some momentum to .500 in conference, but now you head home to battle a tough Rutgers team with more questions.

I like Liddell a lot and think he can be very good. His jump shot is just ugly though.

I predict 2-3 guys transfer out. And one assistant leaves..or is told to leave.

^^ I know you BK and ronburgandy watch hours and hours more college bball than I. I've actually watched very little this season. This past week 3/4 of OSU/Mich, 1/2 Mich/MSU, 1/2 OSU/Wisc. or thereabouts. That game hurts my eyes. I know the Cavs record bites but I find that game so much more entertaining. It's a personal opinion of course and I love bball but I have a hard time watching a game where a team scores <60 in 40 min. JMO. Any Tim Horton's coupons out there RB?

Ohio State was much more fun to watch early in the season when their offense was clicking.
And no coupons yet, I’ll work on it. Heard they have some good doughnuts.

Well last nights Cavs game wasn't very entertaining for sure. As George Gaich used to yell U G L Y you ain't got no alibi. I realize I'm in the minority but I can easily watch a say Milwaukee Bucks vs LA team way way more than say UNC/Duke or Kentucky/Syracuse. The best athletes in the world vs 2-3 that might make the league. Not close for me.

Which is why I would assume Kaleb Wesson thinks he has a chance in this years draft, even though he really isn’t good enough. Doesn’t seem like this years draft will be very deep.

Once again the Cavs will have a top 3 pick or so and I couldn't even say who the top college player would be. We'll settle for a Anthony Bennett,Dion Waiters,Andrew Wiggins guy. I want a Ja Morant. Grrr!

The roller coaster season continues. For 90% of the game Ohio State looked great but then almost gave the game away in the last 3 minutes. Muhammad finally shot a little better and Washington had a nice overall game with some better shot selection and good assists.

Rutgers started making shots,,about 8 in a row. That would do it. And,,our ball handling and turnovers in general was shaky the final 5-6 minutes.

2nd half wasn't called as tight, either. Rutgers didn't get to the bonus, OSU didn't make it to the double.
Washington finished at the rim in the first half, and had a few not get down (nor did he get a call) in the second.
When he can get a couple shots on his own, it really changes the dynamics for the team, making it easier on Wesson inside and letting him get some 3s, as well as taking some pressure off of Walker and Luther Muhammad.
Andre Wesson needs more love for how gritty and hustle he plays. If he was a white dude he'd be getting that sweet Aaron Craft love.

Young continues to impress me with his consistency, something sadly lacking with this years team.

Good win against Purdue yesterday, pretty much controlled the game from tip off. A few too many turnovers though, I think they ended around 16? Muhammad shot well again which is nice to see, two games in a row now he’s shot better. This makes 5 wins out of the last 6 games so hopefully they’re starting to get back to where they were early in the season.

I missed the game and had minimal confidence they could pick up this road win. Can't wait to watch the re-run of this game. Good to see they are on the improve and clawing themselves back to respectability.

On a positive note, take away the first 10 minutes and it was pretty even. How's that for a positive spin....like it was a great cruise if the titanic wouldn't have hit that iceberg

Liddell looked solid again. Still some maturity to gain on shot-selection and decision-making, but he was a load down low. His poster swat over Garza was legit, but they failed to show a replay when action stopped. Hummell was too busy tripping all over himself to swing from the Iowa bigs’ sacks to notice, I guess.
