OHSAA has posted the new division assignments.
Upper Sandusky has moved up to D2 and Colonel Crawford will be D3. Carey drops to D4.

Will CC have an easier route in D3 tournament?
Assuming Upper goes West in the sectional, do they return enough to make some noise with the WBL schools come late Fab?

Willard, CC, Western Reserve, and Margaretta at this point in D3.
D2 will have 3 districts but Upper likely to head west with the WBL schools.

Lima Shawnee will again be very good this year. I agree with Ed. Geographically Upper will probably get paired with the Lima schools/southern WBL (Kenton, Elida, Celina, St Marys, Wapak, Shawnee) I also agree with Ed about the D3 district. 4 good teams. CC's chances are equally good in D3 as in D4 I'd guess. If healthy, South Central should run the d4 district.

If Upper goes with Kenton, Elida, Celina, St Marys, Wapak, Shawnee to a district, who will be the others? Looks like there are 34 teams to get 3 districts in the NW. That would require 10-12 in each and that could mean someone is putting on some miles.

Have they confirmed any sites at this time. I had read something that last year was the final year for Madison hosting.

I strongly see scenario #1. Btw, off-topic, the Rogers Rams, on paper, seem loaded.

As far as I know, NWDAB hasn't confirmed sites. That normally occurs in the fall.
If Madison can't/won't host, where do they go?

If Madison can't/won't host, where do they go? Maybe look to do Monroeville and Bucyrus as Sectional sites and Willard for the District.

In your 2nd scenario, take Upper away from Mansfield and add it to ONU and I think you'll have what it will be.

If Madison does hold firm on not hosting what option does the NW Board have for replacements?

Madison District Galion, Ontario, Norwalk, Mansfield Sr., Clear Fork, Lexington, Shelby, Vermillion, Edison, Huron, Upper Sandusky. Pretty stacked District again 7 of the 12 with solid teams, none of the 7 would be a surprise to see in that District's Finals.
