Noon on BTN
This will be Ohio State's 5th time playing Bowling Green, and this is the last MAC school game on OSU's current future schedules (through 2019)

Even though my heart say's pick your alumni, my mind say's go with those worthless nuts. BG is going to give them a battle (they always do) but we just don't have the fire power to keep up with them.

Source say Torrance Gibson was suspended from Ohio State because a former tutor claimed she was harassed. Buckeyes appealed and lost. Out for the season.

Source say Torrance Gibson was suspended from Ohio State because a former tutor claimed she was harassed. Buckeyes appealed and lost. Out for the season. Expect Gibson will transfer. He's already wasted a year as a redshirt. Urban however, says Torrance is still 'all in' on becoming the best Buckeye he can possibly be.

This one will get ugly real soon, the score is going to be very lopsided. Buckeyes favored by 28, but I think they will cover the spread easily. Besides the talent differential, their is a huge speed disparity as well. Urban alluded he thinks this years edition of the Buckeyes may be his fastest team ever, both sides of the ball.

You are properly right on this one sportsjock but my falcons have always given them one hell of a fight. I see BG giving a good account of themselves until about the middle of the 3rd. qtr. then the worthless nuts will surge ahead because they do have better players and more of them. It would be nice to see my falcons win one once in awhile against them.

Been on the BG campus a lot the past month getting my grandson enrolled and moved in. Sure see a lot of Ohio State garments walking around campus...lol

Sportsjock, I notice that in just about every small college here in Ohio. Apparently kids don't show loyalty to their school anymore. Even my own son down at Muskingum wears a lot of this worthless nut apparel. I haven't been back to BG this year to see the team. I got to meet the new coach first before I will enter a practice session without being invited first. I don't like to step on someone's toes without first introducing myself.

I'll take BG and 28, Last season, our beloved Buckeyes could not cover the spread most of the time. Hopefully their offensively better.

Bowling Green has a mountain to climb this Saturday. Leading this team up that mountain will be a 1st year head coach, 1st year co-offensive coordinators, 1st year co-defensive coordinators and without the services of prolific QB Matt Johnson, who has graduated. (There are no Matt Johnson's in this years group...just yet)
Meyer said Warriner plans to run the fast paced offense we saw against Michigan and Notre Dame. This will highlight and enhance their great team speed.
DC Mark White must be getting little sleep these days. Remember Mark White? Charged with brawling in a BG bar and getting arrested for assaulting a bouncer in the wee hours of the morning, back in the month of May.

He said he has "zero indication" that Gibson is transferring.

Suspended for fall quarter, but that translates into wiping out his entire football season, if I'm not mistaken. Evidently, Urban has the facts in this alleged incident and doesn't agree with what has transpired. I was impressed with Torrance attitude and demeanor during the press interview session.

Is any college in quarters anymore? Hasn't everyone been in semesters for years?

Uh, BGSU last played Ohio State in 2006......Buckeyes 35, Falcons 7 (I believe the 7 was a late game, meaningless TD against the OSU bench.)

I forgot about that game. They always say the first thing that goes is your mine when you get old. On me that wasn't the first that went but it still is missing somewhere. I guess I'm classified as MIA.

This is the last MAC team Ohio State has on their schedule in the foreseeable future.

Have always been happy to see the Buckeyes take on instate schools and MAC schools. Why travel to Georgia State or Utah Bible College for warm up games.

The 77 points Ohio State scored today was the 6th most points scored in school history, and the most since 1950 when they put up 83 on Iowa

Also, JT set his 20th school record, 7 TDs in a game. Tied his school record of 6 TD passes in a game. All in 2 1/2 quarters. 776 total yards was a school record.
30 players played in their first game, 10 were true Freshman. Ohio State rotated 10 WRs and 10 D-linemen in the first half. The first string players were out of the game in the middle of the 3rd quarter.
I saw 2 future NFL 1st round picks born today, Malik Hooker and Curtis Samuel.

Well I guess I'm going to have to go to my dog house again this year because my boys are going to rib me all year long on how bad of a beating my Falcons took yesterday at Columbus. What's even worse is my oldest was broadcasting the Muskingum game yesterday and he kept telling the Falcons game score. How embarrassing that was. I think tat I'll make him walk home for Thanksgiving after that.

Amazingly enough, after the dominating preformance of the Ohio State offense, none of the starting WRs and only one of the O-linemen graded "champion". Yikes!

It could also signify just how down BG is this season.

BG will be just fine. They won't see anyone the rest of the season that comes remotely close to the Buckeyes speed and skillset. After the young Falcon players heads stop spinning, they will have a new perspective on things and learn from their dizzying experience in Ohio Stadium.

It could also signify just how down BG is this season. Surely you jest!! What in the hell does BG being "down" have to do with so few Ohio State players not grading out as "champion"?? If BG is actually "down" that should make it easier to grade as "champion". Ohio State returns 6 starters, BG returns 10. BG has played in the MAC Title game the past 3 years and is favored to win the MAC East for the 4th year in a row.
