ππ itβs sad when teams in your own division back out or refuse to play. Cuyahoga Heights Chicken Hawks and the Newark Catholic Alge puddle. Hope we see Cuyahoga Heights in the playoffs.

Here I thought the trip we took to Conneaut a few years back was a haul π³ You got to hand it to them though, for them to be a small school and travel three hours into the unknown that takes balls, itβs a lot more than I could say for Cuyahoga Heights and Newark Catholic .

From what I am hearing in Licking County, St Paul was not the first or second option for the Green Wave. The had been trying to work out a neutral site with their week one opponent for the past week to ten days

You have to admit that is a jacked up way of creating matches for week one in Pennsylvania. Using their method, Saint Paul could end up playing teams like St Edβs or St Ignatius. I donβt blame them for forfeiting.

Welcome to Norwalk! My boys and I are happy there will be a game at the friendly confines of Whitney.

well I just looked at Cuyahoga hts schedule.they do not have a good schedule except for Kirtland which is probably in their conference.cleveland city schools Lincoln west and john marshall, brooklyn, fairport harbor, lutheran west, richmond hts, independence etc.so ther is no way Cuyahoga hts makes playoffs with this schedule.cuyahoga hts would of been better off scheduling st.paul.head coach al martin has been there 22 years so he has no excuse for not scheduling st.paul.

i was just about to say the same in terms of their schedule. they finished 1st in their region, so it's not an issue.

Cuyahoga Heights has suffered by being in the same league as Kirtland, but they were the dominant player in the Chagrin Valley Conference (small school division) before Kirtland rose to prominence. I had an idea they were a successful program in recent years, but had no idea how far back they have been whooping tail. Here are their results since 2000: ohiohshelmets.webs.com/cuyahoga-heightsIt really makes me ponder why they wouldn't play St. Paul. They definitely can win all their remaining games (outside of Kirtland).

A) did I say anything about regions? B) is what I said incorrect? C) your question would be contrast not a comparison

How are they weaker regions if SP would of been seeded 6th in both, but were 2nd in region 26? And knowing the difference of two things learned in 7th grade has nothing to do with time

For a comment such as yours, I should punch you in the corkholster, but if I did, you'd bite off the end of King John's "scepter."

NSP may want to count their blessings that those "chickens" did indeed decline the offer to battle the Saints. A loss to C.H. may have dropped the Flyers in to the bottom tier of D26, and that may have not afforded them a home game, and maybe even resulted in an early exit than what they experienced......... It's hardly "payback" that C.H. advanced a round further than NSP AND had an opportunity to make the Final 4 (something that CLEARLY wasn't an option for NSP). C'mon Sheepdip.
