I've always wondered when the pioneers were heading West and putting down stakes in Northern Ohio if there were 2 brothers that settled about 25 miles apart as the crow flies and named villages after their first names....Willard and Clyde.

Dumb question; since Bellevue is in all 3(granted, very little in Erie), why Sandusky over Huron County?

Willard was given its current name in 1917 to honor the president of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. Before that it was called Chicago Junction.

Here's a new quiz for Ottawa, Seneca and Wyandot Counties. Please let me know if you see any issues or how you do. I think if I include Crawford, Richland and Ashland on the next one then the whole North Central area will be covered. www.sporcle.com/games/DrCbus/towns-north-central-ohio-2

^ I got 38/39 on that. Had never heard of Deunquat. Just looked it up and discovered it's in the Plankton-Benton-Lemert-Osceola greater metropolitan area

Well if you take the Rt 231 option from Columbus to Bellevue you drive right through Deunquat. I think it's a 45mph speed limit. I'm pretty sure it's just south of the giant tire fire from several years ago.

Usually if I bypass Bucyrus to the west on the way to Columbus or further south it's via Marion-Melmore Rd, hence the reference to Plankton, Benton, Lemert and Oceola.
Plankton is my favorite. It's literally just a railroad crossing with 2 houses, some grain bins and a church next to it. Plus one house immediately north of the Plankton sign that I like to call "suburban Plankton."
It is not to be confused with Planktown, which, while not much bigger, has a lot more cheese for sale.

Marion-Melmore is the faster route but I like to drive 231 sometimes just to mix it up.

I took 231 yesterday on my way to the Seneca East game in Marion. So now I can say I've been to beautiful Deunquat, Ohio.
I also went through Nevada, which was a bustling metropolis when compared to Duenquat.

I got 100%. But one correction. It’s Bellville not Belleville.

Norwalk doesn’t use that helmet anymore, unless they went back to it
