If Norwalk doesn’t figure things out, this could get ugly in a hurry.

Huron is a sleeper this year but I can’t see Norwalk losing back to back games and their home opener, Norwalk by 3 touchdowns.

If Norwalk doesn’t figure things out, this could get ugly in a hurry. Huh, you're undervaluing the talent on that Mansfield Team. Norwalk will be fine. Won't be surprised to see a rematch with the Tygers in the the post season.

as stated first time the two (outside of a couple scrimmages) have played since 2010.. Huron leads the series 45 to 8... first time the two schools played was 1958, with Huron winning 59-12. Norwalk won for the first time in the series in 1960.. Norwalks other wins in this series came in 1962-30 to 6, 1963-20 to 8, 1974-26 to 8, 1975-28-7, 1977 - 20 to 7, 1980-30-28, and 1988 14-6 in two overtimes... Although it does not count toward 11 man football records, in 1940 Norwalk defeated Huron 121-0 in 6 man football...
Looking forward to the return of this series, I know things are not the same as we left it in 2010, but still this will be a good matchup.. Maybe better than some think..

Norwalk rolls, Heck the schedule is weak until they get to league play from here on out.
Norwalk will be too much for them, especially after last week. They will get it rolling.
Also heard PC and Norwalk series will be done after this year?
I assume Edison too as I also heard that.

Trust me, I’m certainly not undervaluing what the Tygers bring to the table, but I also think Huron is a quality opponent who will do damage if the truckers make the same types of errors this week as last.

Like I have been saying since the early off-season, Huron will win the one. Aside from the big fella on the O Line, Norwalk is very overrated. Huron is the better coached team, with a better GROUP of players. Really liked what I have seen from Brown at QB. Adds an element of toughness and playmaking ability the Tigers have been lacking for several years. The addition of Peabody in the secondary makes this team very difficult to throw on. If Huron can stop the run, this one will get ugly.

In the Donut Shop this morning, I heard that Coach Strayer has been suiting up in full pads this week at practice to emulate the big OT from Norwalk. This could prove pivotal come game time.

Man, you gotta give Coach Strayer alot of credit for coaching Plymouth this year and then driving up to Huron to help out the Tigers. I wonder which game he'll attend on Friday night?

Coach Strayer is a prime example of the hard-working nature of millennials in the work force. While baby boomers were content and often complained about having one job, Coach Strayer has three different coaching jobs as well as playing scout team OT for the tigers. Go Tigers

Could get ugly? Closer than most think? Norwalk needs to figure things out? Did get ugly! Not even close! They figured things out! Oh, and didn't get out coached!

Free cup of Dump's tears with the purchase of a donut in Huron this week. Perhaps "Peabody" will join him for a baker's dozen.

Norwalk still has to tighten up their play. Still too many penalties.

Norwalk still has to tighten up their play. Still too many penalties. Yea, holding penalty seemed to be called an awful lot on both teams.. I do admit it..and not ashamed to admit it,,best Norwalk team athletically i have seen probably in 45 years.. They have a lot of weapons.. and the line is very good up front.. just tie their hands together so they can't hold so much! But hats off to those boys in blue...best wishes the rest of the season!! well done!

It was exciting to see the Sophomores get playing time during mop up duty, including my son. He was on Cloud 9 after the game.
At any rate, it was a strange game, and long. Looking forward to PC and Parents Night. Go Truckers!

Norwalk gunna roll into league play without a test, PC, Edison, and Ontario all bad. Should allow them to be rested up for the gauntlet of the Lake.... I anticipate them losing one in league play and finishing 8-2. Once its is all cleaned up with penalties... look out. Gunna get ugly for PC next week

Weak non conference could come back to haunt them. They have no business playing Edison or Ontario. AD should of known they would be solid and scheduled bigger teams.

Sandusky's first 4 opponents are a combined 2-10. Tiffins first 5? 1 and 14. I think Norwalk will be just fine!

Didn’t Edison made a deep run into the playoffs a few years ago? Look at Ashland, they were pretty darn good a few years ago. It’s not like you schedule games as the season is played.

Once it was 42-14 late in game, Coach Fox pretty much emptied the bench. Staley is a Soph and plays a lot of wr and some safety, Shope may when healthy, trasick was playing a little but is now out with injury, there are a few on special teams, But majority of Varsity is made up of Seniors and Jrs. In my opinion, Norwalk will be good for this year, and possibly the next two maybe 3 after that the coaching is going to have to be the strength with what is coming up.
