Norwalk has only won 3x in Bellevue since 1949. Truckers have them where they want them. Ha!
At any rate, it should be a great game, and the way I look at it, playoffs start now for each.

It was 14-9-2 in favor of Norwalk until Lowell Shaffer roamed the sidelines for the Redmen.
Yes, missing scores before 20s and years listed above.

Honestly this week will go a long way in determining who will be where in the final Lake standings. Between this game and the Sandusky/Tiffin game I’m hard pressed to decide which will be a better game to watch!

Bellevue had a few others they almost won as well esp a solid team like West Holmes. But, Norwalk did win. The other Region 10 finalist nor co- SBC Lake champ did not. And while Nasonti is a great coach and I respect him, he's not the only legend Fox had gone against. He's gone against St. Paul's Livengood and did fairly well. You're still hung up on the loss of Raymore. Our current RB through 5 games has 1004 yards and 14 TDs on just 98 carries. That's a little over 10 yard's a pop.

I confess again much rather had Shelby than Ontario. I have seen you make this point several times. How exactly would you have seen that working? Shelby played a league game in week 5 against Pleasant. They do have a league bye like Ontario, but it's in week 8 when Norwalk is busy playing Perkins. Sure, I guess you could say you'd like to play them somewhere in weeks 1-3, but that still leaves your week 5 open, which still likely ends up being Ontario or maybe some TCL school. Plus, Shelby seems content with keeping their long standing Madison-Lex opening in place, and when it comes to week 3, they have elected to restart the series in 2021 with route 20 NOL team they had a much bigger rivalry with.

I understand why it was nearly impossible to play Shelby given the reasons you mentioned. I was simply going by Ontario replaced Shelby in that spot.

14-14, 750 2nd
That LB we lost is also one of the running backs. And right before Bellevues 2nd TD we lost our main RB/2nd best LB to injury. So we're currently without the #1-2 LB and RB.

And now we just lost our QB on a run up the middle that was stood up where the refs took forever to blow it dead and he got thrown down hard after they finally did.
Concussion protocol underway on the bench.
