Play somebody and this doesn’t happen. I'm not sure that's totally fair; Mohawk and Calvert aren't having typical years for them, and Gburg had to fill a week with with Antwerp who is winless, but won 6 games last year. If you want to criticize for Woodmore, then I suppose, but that's a backyard game going to SLL days. This isn’t the first time Gibsonburg’s schedule has kept them out of the playoffs. A few years back they sat home at 9-1 because they didn’t play anyone in their non-con schedule. Here we are a few years later and they’ve found themselves in the same boat except this time they’ll be sitting at home 10-0. I’m not suggesting they sign up for Sandusky but playing a school like Edison, Seneca East or even an old rival like Lake would be beneficial imo. I’ll be curious to see at the end of the year if Gibsonburg would have been better off sitting that vacant week than playing Antwerp. Changing the divisor should raise their points total.

It's interesting Western Reserve is playing for a Home Berth, but would be on the outside looking in if in Region 23. And Gburg also would be playing for home game had it stayed in 22.
Redskin, that 2014 Gburg team that missed had a SJCC finish 2-8 when it was in postseason prior couple years. Also, you suggested Seneca East, but they have cream of crop Mohawk that regressed this year to their standards.
Antwerp won 6 games last year. Ideally, no one wants a bye week, so you can't fault them for scheduling a game.
Bottom line, the Gibsonburg Golden Bears are a victim of circumstance.

In 2014 Gibsonburg was in the TAAC and all 9 teams they beat had a losing record. The team that beat them ended 6-4. So 10-0 they would have made it in.

I failed to mention Ottawa Hills was an upgrade over Elmwood for Gibsonburg.

Better yet check to see if they have enough points to make it in the other 3 regions. I think this might be eye-popping. I’m amazed how simplistic people here think scheduling is. A team goes 8-man late summer and you pick up a school that had a winning record last year. Oops, they go 0-10 this year. You pick up Woodmore a traditional rival and next door neighbor fo gate and tradition. The go 0-10. Then Danbury is the lamb this year and goes 0-10. Meanwhile OOC record of the division is horrible. Critics have all the answers.

Lento is a passionate Coach? I never knew, Ha!
Someone might want to tell him to go easy on his Alma Mater. Final score reeks of Crimson Streaks on Crimson Streaks crime.
