I think college football on Friday night, is tantamount to Saturday NFL football. An infringement on long standing accommodations and understandings.
It's almost November and we're talking Chicago and proximity to Lake Michigan. Expect it to be very breezy, making the passing game tricky at times.

By default, I voted yes. It's another Saturday I don't have to hear about Ohio.

I'm going to go and support my local high school team as usual. Not even going to DVR the game, don't want my cable box to contribute to the ratings.

I'm hoping Gene Smith gets a lot of feed back from fans across the state. Torpedoing high school football attendance, is not a good way to treat your primary base of recruitment. Some will argue; it's the current 'trend'. All trends can be reversed and nullified. Let's see the Buckeyes score early and often, so we can get our key starters off the field 2nd half. Healthy and hungry for Wisconsin!

The idea of the buckeyes playing on Friday night makes me cringe. I however don’t mind college football on Friday nights because I don’t really have a care in high school football at this point in time, unless I’m making money supervising it.
I do see many of your points. It takes away the pageantry of the Friday night lights belonging to the high schools. So I agree keep the minor college games on Friday, because I need something to watch, but the big teams stay on Saturday.

It has nothing to do with pageantry, but everything to do with taking away fans in the stands. who'll will opt to sit their butts in front of the TV, over supporting their favorite, local team. The Friday thing began with a few, creative athletic directors trying to position their team for a nationwide, viewing audience, by breaking from tradition. Minor colleges don't get a pass on this either, they are historically, a Saturday venue as well.

With key injuries on the offensive line, with Josh Alabi out, Thayer Munford a gametime decision, the cohesiveness and performance of the OL for this game is a bit concerning.
Baron Browning's absence will be significant, where he has been setting the tone at LB for the revitalized unit, so Justin Hilliard, Dallas Gant, Brendon White will be expected to fill the void, while Teradja Mitchell is a gametime decision and may be needed to contribute. It's great, that no one is talking about the linebackers these days. The new coaching staff has them performing as they should have last year. Last years coaches put this group in a tough situation, for themselves and the team. This has been a year of redemption.
The good thing is, coach Day has gotten the backups significant PT the first half of the season and have a pretty good idea what to expect and who can be depended on to perform at acceptable levels.
All eyes will be nervously watching the OL and LB, at least at the start. PLEASE, NO MORE INJURIES! We want our Buckeyes hungry and healthy, for the Badgers!

Hell of a kick to end the half. I would imagine that was the longest FG by Ohio State in quite some time.

I missed one TD, got to listen to 2 on the radio, and then watch the other 4 and the FG. Not too bad.
Nice to see Teague break a big one.

This game was the 4th highest rated game in the history of The Big Ten Network....even though it was on a Fridat night.

I counted 2 other college games AND 2 high school games. You must live deep in the woods in the hills of southeast Ohio and your TV only has rabbit ear antenna.
