I already knew that. I was a little disappointed that Lee Owens at the Game night Saturday night spoke about his time coaching at Akron University and being a High School Head Coach at .........Massillon. I was thinking, "Hey! Not even a shout-out for Galion a school who you led to a State Championship?" I guess all the kids in that room acknowledge Massillon better than Galion. Bu you know me if I would have met him that night I would have said something to him about that. LOL

Other than people posting on an internet board who conceal their names, who does brag about being from Galion?

I guess not him. LOL Though he did come back to Galion last year to be recognized for the 30 year reunion of the 1985 Championship season. I heard he's a great guy and coach. For him to come back like that the other night down 12-6 at half-time and win like 35-26, is pretty amazing.

Look at his resume. It is obvious the guy can coach. It's just that he must be prouder of certain stops along the way. lmao

He's never missed an opportunity to return for any '85 celebration that I know of, even when he had to coach a football game the next day. He even spoke at one of my daughter's graduations. He certainly has not "distanced" himself from us.
