Not overly surprising a really good D2 team beats a really good D3 team... just giving the score. That's all.

Willard beat Bellevue by 30+, as expected. Flashes played 2.5 qtrs of good team basketball. Until the coach can get these guy(s) playing 4 qtrs of TEAM ball, they will not see their full potential.

Basketball in the past decade or so has lost ALL parity... I watched PC vs a decent Norwalk team they could have named the score. The last game Norwalk had a 42-15 lead on Vermilion in the 3rd Q. Bellevue is really bad as is Edison, Perkins, PC, Bucyrus, Galion and several others. Not in my head didn’t used to be the disparity

An odd game. Willard came out flat and having 3 games in a week could be a good excuse but anyone with any sense knew Willard would end up winning by a large margin. However, I saw a lot of one on one, driving to the basket 3 on 1 and kids just chucking 3s all over the place. Willard is 14-15 games into the season and at times play like a final 8 team and at other times look like an early out in districts. When the ball is moving everyone is involved and the energy is high. The baldridge kid playing down low has really improved this team. paxton needs to continue to drive to the free throw line and hit that little jumper, great at that. There was a lot of jogging back on turnovers and transition baskets, that needs cleaned up. Like the paxton kid at point.

4 games in 8 days could make that 4th game - against a poor team- a perfect set up for a flat performance. Especially when the previous 3 were all close games against much better teams and a tense environment. I’ve watched every level of play year over year have games like this.
I wouldn’t read too much into it. It was a good week for the Flashes.

Going into last night I was hoping to see Micah and trey knock down some shots to get some confidence back. That happened. I'm a huge believer in assists.if we as a team can get 12 to 15 assists a game as a team that will go a long way.getting everyone involved makes us a tough team to beat. I've never been a fan of Taking the ball out of the net and trying to score without a pass. It's very easy to defend and more times than not it's a bad shot.we put ourselves in bad situations with bad shot selection.ive seen all the kids at one time or another do that so it's not just one or two guys.lets play TOGETHER and then we'll become as one... forget about the scoreboard and just play as hard as you can.go flashes

Willard must have been the more aggressive team to the hoop.

Willard must have been the more aggressive team to the hoop. Good assessment. NW was undersized, but had a good perimeter game. #30 was maybe 6'3" but had outstanding post moves when they fed him the ball...which wasnt often. Flashes definitely took advantage of their size. Willard shared the ball well and ran the floor when it was there. Good win for Willard against a very solid team.

Norwalk beat these guys vby 5 last year IIRC. Lost to them in 15 or 16.
Isn't NW the school Coach Haas started his coaching career?

Myles probably had his best game of the year last night.he was getting after it all night.whst I liked the most is we were finding the open man.we shared the ball and kids were finishing.looks to me Joe wants the ball inside weather it be tb,cp,or mp.we are going to be a tough out for sure but crazy things happen in the tournament.go flashes

Bob began his teaching career at Groveport High School in 1962 and also taught at Southeastern High School and Northeastern High School before landing at Willard High School in 1971

Heard coach b is coaching coop and skeet in Mansfield news journal all star game. Yes. Bedingfield was named a coach and you automatically get your players in the MNJ all-star game, hence why neither was the #1 pick in the "draft."

Crall is a scoring machine and does it while shooting a good percentage, not because of a high number of shots. This has a lot to do with him being the #1 overall pick.
