Terry Baldridge had 27 points tonight while Cooper Parrott had 13 points. Good win tonight for the Flashes. Boys played their butts off and it showed. One of the better teams we’ll face this year and getting a big win this early will do wonders for the teams confidence.

Say what you want but the Flashes are big poopski, Cooper Parrot still non impressive. Upper wins 7 out of 10 vs Willard Upper loses on their home court and you say they win 7 out of 10. You might be the biggest Jacka$$ on Northcoast. Do you know anything about basketball? Cooper Parrot still not impressive....and WE BEAT YOU ON YOUR HOME COURT! That should tell you everything about your team.

I can't believe that you guys are falling for this troll job. It's just dump rebooted on a Willard thread. Although, I will say that taking potshots at kids is a bit much just to stir the pot.

CP eclipsed 1,000 pts scoring last year as a junior. I don't think I've ever seen a poopy player do that

Big factor IMO was when the Upper coaches decided to sit the Vent kid for nearly entire 2nd half.

He wasn't the same in the second half

How do you use the block feature? Someone’s just venting on the forum because the last 2 Willard Upper games didn’t go their way. It won’t last long.

He did roll his ankle, but it was not injury related. Had to do with Baldridge (who is 6'7") getting an offensive rebound over him.

No I’ll be on here until Cooper Parrot and Myles Pinkston learn how to play the game of basketball. Which will probably be till the end of the season. So I think I’ll be in here for a while. Can’t wait for the next game! Ok well, if they beat Upper back to back and they both don’t know how to play basketball what does that mean for the Rams.

Having watched the Upper and Willard game, a couple take aways from what I saw... First the Baldridge kid is good!!! Handles the ball well, defends really well and rebounds everything. Needs to stay out of foul trouble but I don't see him coming off the floor much. The Parrott kid is also very good. I think the most impressive thing about him is his leadership, esp at the end of the game. Really communicated well and got everyone where they needed to be on the floor. An extension of the coach which all great teams must have to be successful. A couple things I did notice is Willard is NOT deep at all. Foul trouble could really hurt this team or 1 injury could really set this team back. I think the one post player, (30) had WAY too many turnovers and the kid off the bench did not hurt Willard at all. I could see their coach swapping those two by the end of the year and 5 getting more minutes than number 30. Upper did some good things but does not have the depth to really press like they used to. Also was surprised they didnt foul number 10 at the end of the game. It was a great high school basketball game and really look forward to seeing how these two do this season.

As I said in an earlier post, i think the season will start out one way and coaches will make adjustments along the way. The bench is thin, I hate the word weak because I don’t think they are weak, just fewer of them. They play hard and everyone contributes while they are on the floor, one way or another. No need to cut anyone down, they are 2-0, can’t get much better than that after 2 games. Kids will continue to get their lungs as the season goes along. The baldridge kid, must say he is impressive so far.

The kid isn’t that good he’s like tacko Fall just bigger than everybody else. I guess you can say he handles is well but my mans hit a jumper to save his nutsack. He made 14 free throws which is pretty good but y’all need to get his sack off of your chin. The parrot kid is not a leader, plays dirty and is self centered and if you talk to Willard people you would know that. You guys are too busy fondling with Cooper and Terry’s scrotums to say anything negative about them. All in all Willard is a average team who won’t make it far. I love the fact that we live in a free country and everyone can share their opinions. There is nothing wrong with this post, it is how you feel and most just have a difference of opinion. If I see something I don't like on the court I will call it out. I thought a couple kids struggled the first couple games offensively but that's okay, that will happen. Point is, when they are having an off offensive night they look for other ways to help the team win. The difference between you and I, I don't take it personal. After all, they are just kids playing a game.

I read it more to the silly adults who live and die thru their kids and build them up to be All-Americans before a game is played. After all, they are just kids playing a game.

If we still had duels we could settle it that way but we don't . Point I'm making, don't let it red line you. Everyone is entitled to say whatever they want. It is easy to be drug into the gutter, it is tougher to ignore it, but better for all if you do.

What did the kid average last year to score 1,000 pts in one season? That season added to his sophmore and freshman seasons at his previous school. So it was over 3 years That is a great idea. Not very many freshman or sophomores collect varsity points. So send them to a school where they can and then return home to gather career records from the home crowd. How many 1,000 pt scorers has Willard had?

The flashes have had quite a few 1,000 point scorers. Now 2,000 point scorers, I think only 2 (Jimmy and Nick). I think Nolan And Joel were in the high 1,000s but never topped 2,000.
