The Tigers **** off a 20 point lead in the 2nd half and will lose in OT. Absolute melt down. Hopefully they can learn from this. Wennes with 30 for the Tigers.
Go Tigers

It was 48-28 Huron 3:11 left 3rd qtr., When the monumental collapse began. Out scored 39-12 the rest of the way and OT. This is an ugly loss for Dump's state championship Tigers.

The Huron wheels nearly fell off at Clyde last night as well. This Huron team doesn't seem to like pressure. Threw the ball around in the 4th and didn't take advantage of 3 Clyde starters out for the game. Bobby James needs to regroup them this week in order to have them ready for Willard.
Also Tiger JV's lost for the first time all year. Freshman team has some JV quality players on it as well. Future looks bright for the Tigers.

The future is very bright for the Tigers. I believe the combined record of the Freshman and JV was something like 32-0 before the JV’s lost last night. Freshman Clark Griswald already making an impact on varsity. Will be difficult to replace Wennes and Ritzler next year but the Tigers should be just fine.
Go Tigers

well our last chance to be competitive ended at port Clinton losing 66-38.i know this is ateam with not much talent but we are getting worse than 3-2 at start of season wins against bad teams.in the 2nd half of season only 3 competitive games win at vermilion 51-45,loss to clyde at home50-43 and loss to calvert 51-48.we have 5 losses of 30 or more with 3 of them 40+.st.paul 66-30,huron 60-20.40+lossesto willard80-39 andback to back home losses 40+ to Willard 85-41 and south central 75-33.i know these are very good teams but back to back 40 point lossess at home is unacceptable.thankfully there is 2 weeks left before Edison season comes to an end. it takes a while to get talent back to Edison,so I think that after season the board and superintendent reviews and recommends non renewal of coach Hammond contract. we need to go in a different direction and I don't know if we can get to .500 next season.

John wooden couldn’t win with the talent pool Edison has right now for basketball. It’s not wrestling where we just pull in area kids to reload every year.

Getting rid of Coach Hammond would be a mistake! You win and lose with players. Edison is very limited there. This season Edison may have an honorable mention player in a 6 school division. That doesn’t spell a lot of W’s when that’s the case. When they had talent, Coach Hammond was able to take them to BGSU and the regionals. When you have minimal talent as in the past couple of years, you end up with seasons like your having now. If you have someone who cares for the school, is respected among his peers, and coaches for the kids instead of himself then you keep that guy in your system. Coach Hammond checks those boxes.

If all your board is worried about is wins and losses then they need to go. This is the same guy that had you playing In The regionals a couple yrs ago. He didn’t grow stupid over night. They tried this same shot with Hoover when your volleyball had a couple bad seasons. Nobody applied and two yrs later he has them fighting for a district title. Just. Give it some time.

Skeet held him to a whopping 7 Points this game and held him to just four points the last game once Joe made the switch from Myles after the first quarter.hes a descent player but definitely not player of the year.i couldn't even tell he was on the court last night.

wellpeople it got worse tonight another b ig home point loss by 56.western reserve 102 edison 46.with huron oak harbor and norwalk things arent going to get better.unofficially the season is over and only 1 home win, season opener with new london and since then weve gone downhill and newlondon has got better win 9 wins. well i believe thats what you done l,ast year this year and projected for next year.forget the years of regionals the past is the past and it will take some time to rebuild.you people like huron do it quickly, you reload not rebuild where edison have to rebuild.plus sports video you have athletic athletes in basketball where edison does not.in huron it dont take years to getback to respectability compared to edison.plus your record is much better is better in your history compared to edison basketballs history both firelands conference and sbc.plus we have a good board of education that will look into thatplus superintendent roth will decide.

willard fillmore i have to agree with you on wrestlers transfers in and basketball players transfer out especially if they know who the coach is.thats part of the reason why the bad year and maybe open enrollment too has to do it.but the board or superintendent has a policy of reviewing all supplemental contracts each year and what happened a few years ago edison going to regionals have nothing to do with the yearly renewal. the past is in the past and today is today.he will get reviewed.and by the way tonight at home western reserve beat edison by 56, 102-46. and with huron, oak harbor and norwalk in tournaments what kind of chance they have staying in those game. i say none.

I don't know who you had move out.. But the OHSAA CB # for Edison is 14...for Huron it is 0...so none of them came this direction.. You can dump your coach if you want.. But who you got in mind for a replacement? That isn't going to be a job that opens eyes right now. But you didn't make it to the finals of the junior high.. 7th grade was a 3rd seed lost to a 6th seed PC, 8th grade was a 5th seed lost to oak harbor by 28.. not a whole lot on the frosh or jv teams,,and varsity has a ton of underclassman..
