The Royals match up better with Upper. Upper doesn't have the height of Crawford. Crall will have his way with Upper’s smaller line-up. Crall will need a little help vs Crawford due to their overall team height. Over the past two games Wynford (due to Mohr’s continued excellent coaching) have started to develop additional scorers. If these couple players can continue their scoring, and Crall gets his normal 25+ then the Royals should easily protect their home court on 12/20 vs Sheldon’s Eagles. Upper and Evan Young had no problem with CC's height. Young had no problem scoring against Crawford. Of course, he is the best guard in the N10.

Please explain how you see Wynford matching up with Upper better? They haven't been able to do so with this group of kids in the past what makes them better?

Coach Mohr will have the Royals ready for both Crawford on 12/20 and Upper on 1/11. Wynford back to the top of the N10.

Note: Crall going to play at Tiffin UniversityCrall is going to be on the Tiffin University roster but we have yet to see if he plays and where they see him on the roster. They currently have 28 rostered players and only 10 of them have been getting meaningful varsity minutes. NCAA encourages large numbers in order to maximize funds so many D2 schools have gone to running a Jv program to get increased numbers and keep those numbers happy but the teams end up carrying a large number of kids that never see a varsity uniform. I'm not implying Crall will be in that group but many kids have gone to play at Tiffin University. What other offers did Crall have?

Note: Crall going to play at Tiffin University Young-Upper....best all around player in league Fenner-CC...... best true point guard. Passing/scoring/leader Crall- Wynford.... best scorer.... highest volume of shots though Mccreary - Upper... combination of the 3 above but doesn’t do better In any catagory than any of the 3 above him. Wynford has now beat there last 3 teams by an average of 13 points. The teams they have “clobbered” are a combined 0 and 11 on the season. Has wynford “righted the ship” as one claims or has the water left the pool? We shall find out soon enough......stay tuned my friends.

What royalballdad hears = "We are 3-0 since our open loss to one of the best teams in the area. The ship is righted and Crall is going to Tiffin University" What the world hears = "They just went 3-0 against 3 teams who have not combined to win a game so far this season"

Sluggish start for the Royals last night vs Bucyrus. Eventually Mohr got the team focused and they played like one of the top teams in the league the second half. Interested game Saturday btw Crawford / Mohawk. Don’t be surprised if Mohawk gives Crawford a very close game. Mohawk’s Coach Dunn is, in this posters opinion, the best coach in the league... just ahead of “The Dean” Coach Mohr. Mohawks Zone Defense will give Crawford trouble.

Per the Royal’s Coach Mohr in a newspaper article. “We are perfect in the league.” “We have the opportunity to continue the momentum with a big effort next Friday.” Crawford at Wynford Friday night.

You would think if royalballdad really believed his trash talk there would be at least one vote for Wynford to win the N10. from the 20 votes collected so far it seems very obvious who the top teams are.

Wynford shares first place in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference and carries a four game winning streak into a meeting with rival Colonel Crawford at the “House of Thrills” on Friday night. Coach Mohr says “This will be our toughest league game so far. Crawford has a lot going for them. They are the most talented team in the league. They are the must athletic team in the league. They are the most experienced team in the league. Physically they are the most imposing team in the league. You put those four things together and that is a pretty good basketball team. Mohr says “We are happy we are 4-1. I feel good about the fact that we are 4-1 and feel good about the improvement we have made.”

Coach Mohr just setting the stage so if they get waxed his rhetoric will be validated. If they win then it will make it feel like he will have been the coach and team to have upset goliath. It’s a win/win for him.

CC escaped another nailbiter last nite. Thought wynford outplayed CC most of the nite. Thought the officials called a ton of ticky tack fouls that benefited the royals most of the nite till the call at the end of the game. In a close game at end i’d rather see the kids decide the outcome. There was some contact on CC’s last shot with 2 sec to go or so but imo not enough to warrant a foul call. Thought it should of went to ot. Crall was a beast in the 1st half. Really had it going. After last nite i’d change my prediction on how league will end up. Upper Carey CC Mohawk Wynford Seneca Buckeye Ridgedale Bucyrus

I also think mohawk will beat one of the teams above them at least once but i’m not convinced wynford will.

“Mohawk team that is 2-4 and had 19 points through three quarters against Buckeye Central”
Same Mohawk team that on the road was tied at 62 w/ under a minute left with Colonel Crawford who as Mohr has stated several times is the most talented athletic & experienced team in the league.
Mohawk is a pretty good team with the top coach in the league.
