The first of 6 weekly CFP ratings has been released. This topic of great interest, deserves it's own thread.

The initial #1 in the CFB ratings has never won it all (Ohio State) The initial #3 in the CFB ratings has never made the playoffs (Alabama)
This is the 6th season of the 4 team playoffs so eventually those trends will be broke. Hopefully Ohio State bursts the #1 trend.

Hopefully Ohio State bursts the #1 trend. Interesting precedence, but as your final sentence alludes, there will be less and less, strange facts to dwell on, as the years pass. As the series continues to mature in age, these kind of facts will disappear from the conversation. It comes down to: are you a superstitious person or not. I don't think coach Day would give such logic, any credence. Let's just line em up, strap on the helmets and play football!

Would be quite surprised if the Buckeyes maintain there #1 spot, but the best scenario possible happened in the Buckeyes favor. Wisconsin wins again, fortifying their SOS and Penn State losing in a close one, gives them a step up in the B1G East. Also, Minnesota is proving to not be a paper tiger, is good for B1G credibility. Cincinnati picked up their 8th win of the season in convincing fashion, but continue to be underrated and disrespected,

I was listening to ESPN Radio this morning and they brought on that Heather Dinich chick. They played her up as the most unbiased person ever (Note that earlier this year on her Twitter handle she had as her Top 4 teams 4 SEC teams, yeah so unbiased). Well she said Alabama should only fall to #4 in the Committee poll tonight because nothing changed over the weekend just Alabama lost to LSU so that shouldn't count against them. eSECpn is hilarious.

That broad is so far off the wall, that anything she says or does, gives me a good laugh......lol Most of the guys on ESPN Serius/XM agree that OSU is the most complete team in football. Quite a turnaround from the talk I've been hearing from them in the past, that used to anger me.
