While we're at it, no one wants to mention the advantage Clyde already having played at Frost-Kalnow this season? Anyone? Yes but this time they are going to be in the home locker room so that makes it totally different

Does the "Home" team really mean anything. No advantage except to the fans. Tiffin has the one of the best 'away" sides Concession stand is good. Parking is acceptable. IMO. As long as the Tornado Siren doesnt go off, itll be a great venue for the game.

As long as the Tornado Siren doesn't go off Clyde just might commandeer that and temporarily rename it the Flier air raid siren

I hear the mini monster is out for his 200yds this week since he didn't quite get it against Edison thanks to a holding call. Is there a shot at a 2000yd season ? If they can play a couple more weeks and he has some big games ?

^ Yep, a lot of that happened 2 years ago at Ashland. Granted a lot of it was overflow from the undersized away bleachers, but a lot of them were going straight to the home side when the gates opened and were perplexed to find out Bellevue was the home team that night.

All the yellow should be a sign 🌩 If Clyde fans show up as early to Tiffin as they did to LaGrange, the entire home side will be yellow and blue by 6 PM.

I'm enjoying the subtle jabs here. Maybe we'll just show up in Willard instead? Based on the poll, the players probably shouldn't even get off the bus anyway. Although if Clyde has anything similar to that Edison car horn blaring after each TD, I'm out. Was that an actual car, or a legit sound effect?

Kritz sees a 7 point game here either way. 35-28...42-35??? Clyde's defensive line is a bit thin with injuries right now. I see a lot of scoring coming 🏈

Clyde By 14 Shelby just not tuff enough. They play in a Weak MOAC. While Clyde plays in a Tuff SBC.

I'm taking the Whippets 35-21
I'll take them to win the region, something about this team just hanging in there in big games

There is something unique about this Shelby team. Two years ago everyone knew Shelby was the more talented team and they proved it to everyone for 13 weeks before they were beat. This team can absolutely frustrate you beyond belief with silly penalties and turnovers. But then they astound you with huge plays. Last Saturday’s second half displayed this. Albert had moments where he would miss receivers, skip the ball to them, then he hits a 30, 50 and 92 yard passes. The defense has bent all year long and really only broke a few times. For the most part I would say they have played with a chip on their shoulders all season long. I like the tenacity and never quit attitude this defense shows. If the offense can hit some more big plays I like their chances against Clyde.

No. I've seen you allude to this several times now and I'm not going to stay silent on it anymore. Bellevue did not beat Bellevue. Clear Fork prevented Clear Fork from having a blowout win. Our only real offensive score came on the first drive of the game, when Marshall made a catch on the sideline on a 3rd and long, spun out of a tackle and was gone. The next score came after CF bombed a snap over the punter's head all the way back inside their 20 and then Bellevue scored on a 4th down pass to Marshall. The next score came after CF's running back was not ready for a pitch that hit him right in the chest resulting in a fumble, giving Bellevue another short field to cash in on. After that, CF's QB started throwing his passes to his receivers instead of 5 feet over their heads (an issue that halted at least 2 of their first half drives), and CF's offense began clicking for the rest of the game. They also were able to cut the score form 21-3 to 21-16 in 3 minutes of game time by taking advantage of a late 2nd quarter score followed by receiving the 3rd quarter kick, and Bellevue's offense continued to struggle when not put into gift wrapped situations of excellent field position + momentum.
