Well the finale was at least a little better than the previous episodes. Sets up for another battle next season with Negan's army.

I was honestly kinda hoping he would club Rick and the wolf pup and we could just be done with this show...

Yeah, I think Im done recording this show and wasting my time with it. So freaking predictable anymore. It has run its course, its ratings will be dropping, if they haven't already. Some really bad acting too, wow. The last episode = snoozer. Oh wow, they got into a gun fight and nobody of real importance died. Yeah, this show is done for.

Just got caught up on the finale. Sasha dying was easy to predict since her actress is moving on to a Star Trek show. On that note, perhaps Sasha going to Star Trek was actually part of a trade, and that's how we ended up with these weird garbage dump people...

TWD season finale had the lowest rating since season 2. For the entire season they are down nearly 20%. Factor in that there is nothing else really on TV worth watching at this time and on this day other than sports, and what you have is a show losing its audience, its ratings and limping along. Either they will do some drastic remodeling after this letdown season 7, or they will continue to bleed until AMC drops them and they end up on a network like TrueTV or some oddball channel.

Just over a month away from the season 8 premiere and I can't say I'm really all that excited about it.
Though supposedly it's going to be "deeply different"....whatever that means.

Finally got around to getting caught up on the first half of season 8.
It's amazing how much time this show wastes on slow dramatic close ups of peoples faces and other pointless filler.
Also, Alexandria has a comically oversized sewer system.

For about 3 years I was actively rooting for Carl to die. I wanted a walker to get him. I wanted the Governor to kill him. I wanted Herschel to feed him poisoned spaghetti. He dies last night and it gave me zero delight. And for some reason I'm still watching this show. Why?

So, what to think of this new direction?
Rick is gone, off to continue his story in some feature length made for TV films.....and now we're about to jump ahead several years where Judith is about 10

I think the 'Yakety Sax' music would have been more fitting to play during the helicopter scene with Rick at the end.

I dont think its evolution. I believe an introduction to another bad group.

Is Fear the Walking Dead going to merge with Walking Dead ?
(Garret Dillahunt) John Dorie on Fear the Walking Dead Would be perfect for the roll of Tombstone in a Spiderman movie. Marvel needs to contract him for it.
