Posted this on Norwalk vs Sandusky thread then saw this thread was started...my apologies for double post.
So Willard and Ashland not available. Hmmm. Tiffin then? Makes most sense but that's assuming they're available. Usually a good fit for many other games.
Next would be Bellevue or Clyde? Or something east, near 71? Madison would seem crazy but is there a bigger advantage for Sandusky to play at Bellevue (15 miles vs 45 miles) for the third time this year or Senior to play in Mansfield at Madison (7 miles vs 56 miles)...or is it similar?

Tiffin could get used for Toledo Central Catholic/Olentangy. Though so could Findlay, if they don't get Anna/Archbold. TCC/Olentangy could also be at Marion, if they don't get Carey/East Knox

Saw many games during that 90 season. They were a load. I think the 87 squad was a sleeper that peaked at the right time.

A little birdie told me where this game is, but asked not to tell where. As soon as I can, I will. It has been mentioned on this thread.

Pray to god it’s in Medina, if so who wants to meet for a beer or two before? That. 15 minute drive for me.

Despite what I said on another thread, the more I think about it, Clyde, Tiffin, and Bellevue(Longshot) seem it

Holy Named scored 30 against Senior and you think this Sandusky team will only score 14??

Sandusky had more penalties (17) than points (14) the first time around. If they can avoid repeating that I like their chances in round two.

Mansfield was up 21-0 and it almost seemed like they got lazy because they knew they were going to win. 1 holy name td came after Mansfield fumbled deep in their own territory and one TD came in the last minute of the game during mop up duty. that's 14 of the 30 right there. Holy Name actually had a nice looking team and I can see why they beat Tiffin. also they probably had the biggest Oline that Mansfield has played all season. dont get me wrong I could see this going the other way also. I think whoever wants it more is going to win it. I do believe Mansfield has the superior Oline and Dline. If you take away Stewart from Sandusky they are a very mediocre team.

Willard has a basketball game on Friday night, seems like that’ll keep them from bidding. Tiffin seems like the next logical location. TCC and Olentangy should play in Findlay. As for the outcome of this game, if Sandusky can clean up their game from week 5 by limiting their penalties, and finding an effective short to midrange passing game then they should be alright. I think after last week, Sandusky should have a lot of momentum and confidence going into this game

This confirmed? Seems odd that Clyde would want to sacrifice their facilities the night before the regional finals

Franklin developing into a solid game manger as a sophomore has helped Sandusky tremendously. The sophomore class has developed nicely for Sandusky.

Franklin developing into a solid game manger as a sophomore has helped Sandusky tremendously. The sophomore class has developed nicely for Sandusky. The final quarter of the first meeting between these two teams was sort of young Franklins debut. Had a cool head, delivered some nice balls, matched the team down and scored. Had Sandusky recovered the onsides who knows what might have happened. Sandusky has sophomores sprinkled on both sides of the ball at all positions. Good sign of things to come after the #4 era.

The lower levels have some very talented kids coming up as well.

Hard to beat a team twice in one year. Mansfield will have to play much better then last week if they want to win.

If you need a place to stop before (or after) the game. Might I recommend Duke's Bar and Grill, downtown Clyde. 1.3 miles from the High School. They are definitely in the Play Off Spirit and have great food and drinks. Ironically, tell em some guy from Bellevue sent you. (Get the Philly Cheese Steak)

If you take away Stewart from Sandusky they are a very mediocre team. Wow, great comment. Isn't this the case for most high school teams? Take away their stud? Take away Brady, I'd bet the Patriots would have fewer rings.

Take away Brady, I'd bet the Patriots would have fewer rings. Right. People seem to forget that Stewart was hobbled the first time we played Mansfield. Not only that, but Franklin was seeing his first action at QB. We lost by 7. This Sandusky team had gotten on a roll and I noticed a huge shift in demeanor and discipline in that Medina game. This will be a good game

dont give me that crap Stewart wasn't hobbled he had a huge run and scored and then Mansfield completely shut him down. Mansfield lived in your backfield due to their superior line play. Anyways it should be a very good game. Mansfield is a much improved team since the first time they played. The game honestly could go either way. Going to be a great night of football.
