No turf no host is the rule but especially so for a regional title game.

I predict Clyde will fall behind 14-0 then come back for the dub. Just a bunch.

D4 Region 14 Final - 7pm Saturday - Location TBA Clyde is 23-13 in the playoffs and is looking for their 5th regional title (94, 95, 05, 13) O-G is 16-13 in the playoffs and is looking for their 2nd regional title (2009) I'm guessing that the 23 playoff wins leads all the other SBC schools? Also 3 SBC teams in the regional finals😎 🏈🏈🏈

We don't speak of that 1999 game here I think I must have accidentally looked at Wickliffe's total on the line above them on the OHSAA playoff participants list. It has been fixed.

Watched films on Huddle of all the games Clyde and O-G played. Clyde's offensive and Defensive lines, Although effective looked sloppy. O-G looked big and coordinated. O-G quarterback looked confident but seems to only throw to his first intended target (Most always right on the money). They also had hardly any play action, was pretty obvious they were running or throwing. Clyde on the other hand, you couldn't tell what they were gonna do until the play unfolded. IMO, this will be a low scoring defensive game. O-G having the upper hand. Carter better bring some coaching skills to this one.

Clyde needs to play a better 1st half this week. Thinking this will be a 7 point spread either way.

I would really like to know how this is even possible for someone to watch all of the films of each of these teams games if you are not even affiliated with either team? Just curious as to how you gained access to these films without permission? Enlighten me or I have to consider your comments fabricated and without substance. Are you affiliated with one of the teams? Help me out here because I am a little confused.

It’s 2019 coaches don’t take vhs tapes and trade with each other.

They need to be granted access or have the stuff shared with them. Not all of the films are public access is what I am getting at.

I watched the Wauseon/OG game and I kind of thought the opposite of the lines. I think OG is fast, but Clyde has the strength and size advantage, but I would need some actual height and weight dimensions to really know. I watched highlights from other OG games and they have some tall receivers it looks like, but if they think they can just run the ball up the gut on Clyde that’s a tough task to ask for any year, it seems though that they like to run the ball up the middle. Now they bounce it outside the tackles and there is a different story. Should be a good game either way. Clyde really does have to eliminate 1st quarter mistakes. It has happened a lot this year.

Those clowns have been wretched since Art Smith was doing all 9 State hoops games back in the 60's-70's. WFRO has trailed all of the area's "smaller" stations in "talent" since I've walked the Earth. Kyle Knight is an improvement, but even he cut his teeth at WNCO and K96 before he came out of retirement and went back in to radio for the 10th time. The guy he replaced Kerns or Cullen, one of the John's (they're both horrible), was their former lead horse and was bad on ice.
The time/score needs to be given at a MINIMUM every time that a 1st down is achieved. They go entire DRIVES and mention neither. In hoops, every time there's a score, GIVE THE TIME/SCORE. If it's a turnover fest or nobody can put the ball through the net, every other possession by each team should do.
And for the love of Christ, don't call somebody by his NUMBER. A simple quick glance at your notes/roster/prep board will afford one a chance to formulate a complete sentence using #72's surname when announcing that he/she/it made a tackle.
Radio silence............

^ my favorite is when "over here" is used to describe where a pass went

My favorite: “Lookin lookin lookin lookin lookin” (as the QB drops back to pass). I also agree score and time need more mention. However, coach Martin provides some really good insight into the game that the radio had lacked before he started.
