Congrats Whitaker. I went with 3 games different than your picks hoping to hit 2 of them and went 0-3.

It was so tight all season. Thanks BellevueBuckeye for the battle and for the sportsmanship & class here in the final week.
Thanks Admin for putting in the work.
Saturday was loads of fun at my house with tons of Buckeye fans along with a three Auburn grads.

As I was trying to pick CFB games on another site I remembered that I did well in this pick'em from last year and I found this thread to review my strategy. I checked a few things and something popped out at me. BellevueBuckeye and I were tied going into the final week. I posted my picks early. If he would have made the same picks as me, we would have gone to the weekly tiebreaker which I would have won. But we still would have been tied for the overall contest. We then would have gone to overall tiebreaker, which BellevueBuckeye would have won. He would have been the champion. Did he know? I can't say for sure. My experience is that he doesn't miss much. I think he knew. But he didn't make the same picks as me. He played the game, he lost, then gave me a virtual handshake.
In 1941, Ted Williams, with one day left in the season, was batting .3995. That would have been rounded up to .400. He could have sit out that final day and held that magic number. Instead he played the doubleheader and went 6 for 9. He finished the season at .406. In the 79 years since, nobody has hit .400 in a season.
Victory is in the quality of the competition, not just the final score. ____Mike Marshall

Damn COVID made my weekly pics go away. It’s alright... hopefully we will still have a bowl season...
