8:00 on FOX
This will be Ohio State's 5th B1G Championship game appearance and Wisconsin's 6th (though it would be OSU's 6th and UW's 5th if the results on the field were the only determining factor for appearing in the title game)
Ohio State is 60-18-5 all time against Wisconsin, including this year's 38-7 win and 2 previous B1G Championship matchups, one 59-0 blowout and one 27-21 nailbiter.
This will be the first time Ohio State has played an opponent twice in the same season since 1975. That year OSU defeated UCLA 41-20 at the LA Coliseum in early October and were ranked #1 in both polls going into the Rose Bowl rematch, were the Bruins pulled a 23-10 upset, denying Archie Griffin a national title and possibly the chance for Woody to retire on top. So don't let your guard down Bucks just because you beat UW soundly in round one.

Playing a one loss Minnesota would have been better for Ohio State's resume than playing and beating the same team twice.

Agreed. I hate the idea of playing the same team twice. I’ve heard so many times in my life how hard it is to beat a team twice, and seen it in some instances. This is the trap game of the year and now the coach’s job to keep the players heads in it.

Look at it this way. If we lose to wiscy we are still in playoff. If minn would of won and they would of beat us then we very likely would not of been in the playoff. I too wanted to play minn but given the scenarios i’m good with it. Neither one of them can beat osu anyways so it really don’t matter.

I think Ohio State is in the playoffs no matter what happens this Saturday. Even if they played minnesota and lost I think the committee still puts them in. They’ve been way to consistent all season and to have one slip up wouldn’t suddenly put them out of the playoffs.

I don't think this is a trap game at all. The OSU coaches will undoubtedly, challenge the guys to step up and improve on their first meeting. Both teams fully understand all the matchups and understand what works and what doesn't.
Shutting down Jonathon Taylor for a second time, is a supreme challenge to the defense. If they can accomplish that, it would send a powerful message to the playoff committee, given the fact JT has been been running wild since the Ohio State game, regaining the plaudits and stature he enjoyed before being stifled by the Buckeye defense.

I think we all wondered what game was going to be that trap game. Or which game was going to be our lame duck.. this year unlike others, I don’t think the buckeyes are going to have that slip up. I said it before the coaching staff does a phenomenal job of keeping this kids hungry and humble.
I would have loved to not play the Badgers a second time simply because twice in the same year it’s kinda... yawn....
I don’t believe JT is going to run all over the place and these buckeyes are looking to play 2 more games after this weekend.

All I know is, playing inside on turf HAS to be a huge advantage for a fast Ohio State, compared to a big fat Wisconsin. We've seen that before. Minnesota has faster players than Wisconsin and read options all over the place. Playing outside in 30 degrees and sleet favored Wisconsin.

Someone forgot to tell Wisconsin they were supposed to lay down and die for Ohio State. I’m going to assume that Delaney is headed down to the refs right now to make sure OSU gets every opportunity to claw back in.

Being embarrassed in the first game will do that.

Getting embarrassed will do that. Day and Hafley getting out coached Betcha Hafley has spent more time this week prepping for job interviews than prepping for Wisconsin.

The refs somehow miss an egregious illegal motion on the go ahead TD for OSU. The B1G is gonna make sure the sacred cow gets to the playoffs.

It's funny how teams with the best athletes and coaching tend to get favorable calls. It must be a nationwide conspiracy.

I’m going to assume that Delaney is headed down to the refs right now to make sure OSU gets every opportunity to claw back in. As a Michigan fan that watches his team plat OSU yearly you must be familiar with the concept that a lesser team can hang with an opponent with emotion and adrenaline for around a quarter and a half. After that, typically water finds its level.
