8:00 on ESPN at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona
Clemson leads the all time series 3-0, all in bowls, including a 31-0 win in the 2016 CFP Semi at the Fiesta Bowl and the infamous Woody Hayes punch game.
This will be Ohio State's 9th appearance in the Fiesta Bowl, in which the Buckeyes have a 5-3 record (1-1 pre BCS, 3-1 BCS, 1-1 NY6)
This is the 6th consecutive New Year's Six bowl appearance for Ohio State, and the 16th appearance in an NY6/BCS bowl in the 22 seasons of the combined NY6/BCS era. It is also the 3rd CFP appearance for Ohio State and 4th CFP game.

3 keys for a Buckeye win:
1) Fields health. Need him to be 100% so he can extend pass plays with his feet and also you could tell it affected his throwing Saturday night. 2) Get pressure on Sunshine with a 4 man rush 3) Don’t miss tackles on Etienne...I’m looking at you Linebackers

It's been opined by some as the best Buckeye team of all-time, yet, underdogs to Clemson. Nevertheless, should be a great game.

O-line protect Fields. Ohio State ranks 94th in pass protection. By far Ohio State's worst stat.

Justin Fields is getting better about holding the ball too long. He still has the propensity to tuck and duck, when he should be throwing it away. I see improvement in his learning process. Everyone needs to be patient, as I'm sure the coaching staff fully understands the nature of things.

I agree with land of giants. An OSU dialed in healthy team wins this game. Our defense being the biggest X factor. I think with the pass rush we can bring and the coverage with our DB’s,,I think this represents an entirely different world than what Trevor Lawrence has seen. These two segments of OSU are NFL first and second third found talent across the board with those 7-8 guys. And that, IMO gives OSU a real chance to win this game by a decent margin.

31-0 in 2016 just hope to get off the goose egg this time.
0-3 so far in meetings with Clemson can we change that ? Big task.

From the sounds of the sports commentators that I’ve read and watched, it’s all Clemson in this one.
Am I the only one that is a little confused? I get it Trevor Lawrence, good receivers and a defense that has put up great numbers. Now the universal rebuttals to that is, they did all that in the ACC. Do they do the same thing in the other Power 5 conferences.
Top to bottom I have to say and strongly believe the ACC is the weakest and entirely believe to a certain extent Clemson better have put up the numbers and stats or else, common sense would think, why are you so much garbage...

All one has to do is consider this. Take Clemson out of the ACC and it is highly likely that 3 teams that Ohio State beat by beat by by 31, 29 and 11 all would win the ACC Title and possibly even a fourth that Ohio State did not play would. Take Ohio State out of the Big Ten and eliminate Clemson from consideration. There isn't a team in the ACC that would finish higher than 3rd in the Big Ten East or higher than 3rd in the Big Ten West.

Dobbins HAS to pass-protect today, he has to pick up the blitz. He struggled at times this year doing that but tonight he HAS to be on point.

The LSU/Oklahoma game, was essentially over, early 2nd qtr. The fact the playoff field is lacking 4, legitimate playoff calibre teams, solidifies the 4 team concept for many years to come. Diluting the field for the sake of increased inclusion, not a good argument and including 2 and 3 loss teams nullifies the concept of best of the best, playing the best of the best. GO BUCKS!

Key to game IMHO is will Coach Day be able to play chess with the great Dabo?

Dobbins with over 100 yards rushing in the 1st quarter. Setting a new Ohio State single season rushing record.

I’m so ******* tired of targeting. I’m not looking for a kid to get hurt, but I’m so tired of that rule and the enforcement. If there’s a running back blasting out of the end zone who takes a helmet to helmet hit, its ok. However, once a QB like sunshine takes a pop, he is defenseless??? Bullshit!!!

That was a speeding ticket for doing 26 in a 25 type of targeting call.
Technically a correct call by the strictest letter of the law, but nowhere near the aggressive dirty type of hit that rule was put in place to outlaw, and total BS to be called in a situation that completely changes the complexion of a national semifinal game.

I think we were all worried when we couldn’t finish off drives and settle for field goals. One call changes the game and now will be a dogfight till the last play.

SEC officials not doing the Buckeyes any favors tonight. On the interception that ended the game, there was a miscommunication between Fields & Olave. Olave was open! Think Justin was expecting him to cut right. This could, so easily been a happy conclusion for the Buckeyes. So many things went Clemson's way that allowed the final drama. Will be interesting to see the final stats. Everything has to favor the Buckeyes, except the scoreboard......nuts

No way we should lose that game, it was a bad loss. Got out coached and out played for most of the game. I'm not a fan of Coach Day.

We got out coached plain and simple. If you think otherwise, you didnt pay attention to the game. A 16-0 lead, which should have been at least 24-0, and we get beat. C'mon man!
