Looking at the Flashes schedule I don't see them getting beat. even though the schedule looks like we shouldn't lose a game I will be the first to say I hope that's not the case. Being undefeated going into the tourney is a heavy burden on teams.i personally would like us to have a couple loses but this Saturday isn't one of them.i thought we played with adversity against upper being down 8 after the first quarter and baldridge being in foul trouble.and coming back to win at their place was huge for this team.im a Homer and going undefeated is possible but might not be best case scenario for us.i just wish I would of kept my big mouth shut after we scrimmaged over in Ontario and stuck with my first thought of this team is better than last years.i thought we would get exposed but Joe is pulling the right strings and other kids are stepping up to contribute. Other than upper we haven't played anyone so I'm hoping for Norwalk to give us a game. Go flashes

I guess I figured Dawson Paxton Pinxston and Adelman, would all improve on what they did last year , and then you also get Cok bringing good minutes from the bench which just helps our depth.
Once Cooper and Paxton gett their basketball legs and arms under them totally we should formidable. I agree Baldridge staying out of foul trouble will be important as he is a mismatch with his height and ball handling ability.

I don't see anyone else doing so. I agree though, we need to be in some battles to get us tourney tough. It is good for the team to go through challenges but peaking at the right time is also good. There are no teams on the schedule that Willard can't beat.

No, another Margaretta, SA! There is some history between Willard and Margaretta so I would say they'll be up for this one. I don't see them beating Willard, but they won't be a pushover either.

My boys always looked at about 3-4 weeks after football to be in basketball shape. Since Willard did not play any extra games, football has been over for more than 6 weeks and this should not be a concern at this point. IMO

According to royallballdad the royals are a top flight n-10 team that will compete for n-10 title after beating the likes of margaretta, buckeye central, bucyrus, and ridgedale. CC vs wynford friday for all the marbles.

Then I thought he was a super-fan for his coach he voted for. Now I just think he is a super-nut exposing his coach's crazy thoughts and comments.

You need to get that looked at ;-) Why would I feel different. Margaretta has done nothing this season, going 1-4 so far, that would make a reasonable person think Willard would struggle with them. Specially someone like yourself that in November was claiming a regional appearance was almost a sure thing for the flashes. And now you are the one with crazy thoughts. You may need medicated.

Willard better shoot a better % from 3 than they have to date (vs Upper and sisters of the poor) to beat Norwalk on the road...

Willard better shoot a better % from 3 than they have to date (vs Upper and sisters of the poor) to beat Norwalk on the road... were not a 3 point shooting team so that won't matter. We rebound and push the ball. We have slashers that can finish. If Norwalk can't handle the ball and turn it over a ton then this could get ugly. If I'm playing Willard I do a triangle and two or as soon as Parrott or skeeter touch it I have two guys on them. I'd make the other players beat me. Jmho.i look for grey to come up with something like that. Hopefully Joe has thought of that and has come up with something to counter that.go flashes

This rivalry has changed over the years. Now it seems more like a small school vs a big school. It used to be looked at as just two schools.

It’s a D2 school vs a D3 school... However much like a OSU - UM rivalry it has somewhat evaporated with Norwalk winning the last 15 which for the old time Flashes fans has to seem like a lifetime. What I find interesting is that after a decade of losing to Norwalk they don’t match up for one season yes just one season and suddenly the Flashes talk about what they could-woulda done last season to Norwalk... I hope Saturday night is a good game and both teams play well and as Steve said it’s good to have the matchup back on the schedule...

My meaning was the schools used to be closer in size and now Willard is about half the size of Norwalk.
