Portwalk so full of yourself it’s like comic relief.Congratulations on comparing yourself to Ohio State , my goodness lol! 79-40 Lifetime matchup record in favor of the school half your size buddy boy. Much like U of M who leads the all time series with OSU doesn’t really matter when you lose for a decade and the other school be it OSU or Norwalk is winning for a decade straight and hanging National Championship or State championship banners. other than old timers the all time series doesn’t mean jack...

The hope I have for Saturday is that Norwalk is not offensively hesitant as Steve’s teams sometimes are and attack the Flashes pressure. Should be at a minimum entertaining.

Willard is going for its first 5-0 start tomorrow night since the 2005-2006 season when the Crimson Flashes started 24-0.

Portwalk so full of yourself it’s like comic relief.Congratulations on comparing yourself to Ohio State , my goodness lol! 79-40 Lifetime matchup record in favor of the school half your size buddy boy. Now I and everyone on here know how the Willard faithful love to beat their chests about their grand history. But let's keep it a little more recent than 1971-1993. Let's say 10-15 years back. In the last decade Norwalk is 185-66 .737% while Willard is 109-109. Not to mention the one thing that trumps all the history, a State Championship! I do believe Norwalk has won the last 15. So to recap, yes Willard has a long history of Haas and Nossamon era, but honestly neither ever won a Chip. Please let's not play the school size card.

I'm confused about school size as well considering Willard won many of those games when both were AA/Division 2. How are you double in size having said that?

The comparison was Ohio State domination of Mich in football. So let’s use that data 2000-2019 We didn’t play in 2018,,,so it’s 2000-2017
2000-2006 Mostly Willard 2007-2010 don’t know 2011–2017 All Norwalk no doubt. I guess we’ll see Saturday night..where each program is at going into the next decade.
Ty bee bum bum hole — why is 1970-1999 not relevant? Because Norwalk sucked most of those years?

Such a typical childish last 2 sentences for you. Next will be your fake tough guy act when you don't like the direction thing are going for you. Check your reading comprehension. 2007-2010 you don't know? Ignorance is no excuse. I clearly stated Norwalk has won the last 15. Do the math. Relevant to what, now? Why do you omit those Lillo years?

Tybee Guy, I chose 2000-2019 because that is the timeframe where Portwalk compared Norwalk to Ohio State with Willard being Mich. I think it was a bad comparison, but just for fun I’ll play along. OSU and Tressel got started I believe in 2000 and the winning has continued this year —hence 2000-2019. I think Norwalk got the better of us for approx 8 of the 19 years in that timeframe, where OSU beat Mich 17 of 19. Just sayin.

For the record, Norwalk has absolutely won the last decade. That is without opposition from me. I think Willard had equal talent with Norwalk last year and I think we have superior talent this year. That being said, two things will to a degree factor into this game. 1–Norwalk is the home team 2–Willard hasn’t played a game in two weeks. How big of a factor,,, we shall see.

Tressel got started I believe in 2000 and the winning has continued this year —hence 2000-2019. 2001 was Tressel's first year. 2000 was Michigan's most recent win in Columbus.

Thanks for shaming my Buckeye knowledge of history which I feel is right up there with the best of them——LOL 3rd person reference one of Clywalk’s favorites... Should be an interesting test for the Flashes this evening hopefully both teams play well and the refs referee this more like a tournament game. Because with the Bay being down this year the Flashes are only going to see a handful of tests prior to regionals this year imo...

Flashes by 15 tonite.60-45. Unless Norwalk gets some outside shooting this game shouldn't be close. I see Willard to play some 1-3-1 trapping defense since Norwalk guards are having a hard time with pressure. To many turnovers and not enough scoring will hurt Norwalk tonite.willard has to much for them to handle.go flashes

Go flashes Norwalk obviously down a bit this year, but can still tell they are well coached. As suspected, they struggle to score buckets, but play really good defense. They will struggle with Sandusky this year, Tiffin will also be be a challenge but they will compete in most games. Good win for the Flashes, without 1 starter and Skeeter getting in foul trouble and won by 22.

Norwalk trailed 36-17 late in the 2nd Q and then went on a 16-4 run closed it to 40-33 Mid 3rd missed 2 Fts and the rest was history. Pg Adelman I believe couldn’t miss and Parrot and Baldrige are real good. They will have Trouble with a team that can pressure but they won’t see that until regionals in D3... enjoy the ride

This was more than just a victory on paper this was validation that Willard has a very solid team and program. The Pinkston and Paxton kids stepped up tonight and that was the difference. Not sure what was said to them two but whatever it was, bottle it and continue to use it. The defense at the top with Pinkston was outstanding and the transition game, well we said Norwalk wouldn't want to get into a horse raise against Willard and they did and paid the price. The Parrot and Baldridge kids will be team's main focus throughout the year and they were tonight. This is when kids need to step up and they did, it was great to see. The Adelman kid and Cok kid both played solid in their rolls in the win tonight. The coach subbed them in and out at the perfect times and it allowed the Baldridge kid to not foul out. That would have been a turning point had he fouled out, great coaching. If they play this well night in and night out, they may not get beat. I look forward to the Huron game on Saturday the 4th, another good measuring stick for them. Good luck flashes and great win.

So Willard may get a couple good tests soon.. Or they may not...
