The individual responsible for making the new signage to post new school records in the Ontario Natatorium says he can't keep up. So he's not going to make any more new ones until the season is over.

Soph Brie Trumpower set her 6th individual school record. Swimming the event she hates, the 200 IM, she had a time of 2:13.94. Which is 1.5 seconds faster than the winning time at last years District meet. This was only the 2nd time she swam the event in competition.

The girls and boys won all events except 4 and it took new meet records to finish ahead of the Ontario swimmers in 2nd.
A big story in this meet was Ontario's Alex Matthis in the 500 free. He was put in the event when Ontario's best distance swimmer was quarantined. He had Ontario's 3rd best time going in and the 5th best of all entrants. He won the event besting his seed time by 36 seconds!
Ontario girls are in a good position to win the District meet where they finished 15 out of first place last year. As their times are already the equal or better than their best times last year and they haven't started their taper yet.

Brie Trumpower could qualify for the State Meet in 7 different individual events. Swimmers are only allowed to swim in 2 individual events. Which 2 will she swim at the Sectional meet Saturday? Most likely the 50 and 100 Free, so she will be most rested for the 200 and 400 Free relays, that Ontario could win at the District Meet.
