Alright, we are starting to learn some things about a lot of teams. What are your thoughts on this district so far?
Bucyrus, Colonel Crawford, Crestview(Ashland), Eastwood, Elmwood, Fostoria, Lakota, Margaretta, Seneca East, Western Reserve, Willard, Woodmore, Wynford |

Bucyrus, Colonel Crawford, Crestview(Ashland), Eastwood, Elmwood, Fostoria, Lakota, Margaretta, Seneca East, Western Reserve, Willard, Woodmore, Wynford From what I've seen, and read, the favorites have to be.... Willard Colonel Crawford Western Reserve Fostoria Fostoria really an unknown, I believe they're unbeaten and very young, but very talented. |

Fostoria lost on their floor to Rossford the other night by 27. Rossford is DII, beat Defiance and stomping everyone else. Including Eastwood, their only loss. Fostroria is young, they'll improve through out the season, more so than anyone else. |

Eastwood's only loss has been to Fostoria, they've beat DI Bowling Green and DII Maumee and Port Clinton handily.

BG is 1-7 and getting crushed by all except Fremont Ross, Bobcats only win.

All those "woods" up there are confusing. Eastwood's only loss is to Fostoria, Fostoria's only loss is to Rossford. Rossford hasn't lost a game. Elmwood only has 2 wins. Then there's Woodmore and Woodward.

Fostoria has 5 seniors in their top 8 but not all of them played last season. Not a ton of size but a lot of quickness. Eastwood has been their best win so far. |

Oak Harbor at Eastwood tonight should give us a decent look to see if EW is a threat in the D3 District.
Both teams had significant wins the night before. EW over Fostoria at F,,and OH over W.

Last years top teams in this district would have made for one heck of a district however Upper, Huron and OH all squeaked into D2 |

hence making D2 that much better this year.
As it is,,WHS CC WR and probably EW won't be nearly as easy as I originally thought it would be.
Right now,,my best guess D3 semi matchups
1W vs 4CC
2EW vs 3WR

Now that I have seen SP a couple times. I think Western is better. Because they have great guards as well but their post players are really good. We will find out soon enough.

Well Huron beat NSP and lost to WR,,so I'm in agreement too I guess.
Although looks like NSP did have a decent 2nd half lead but fell apart .

Huron stopped attacking the basket in the 2nd quarter..maybe their worst qtr of the year..you can't try and match st paul 3 pointers for 3 pointers.. that won't end too well....so we got back to it mid way through the third and most of the 4th.. St Paul as you know only plays about 6 guys.. they're not going to defend the hoop and risk foul trouble.. plus we have a size advantage over them... western is built similar..couple big bodies,, and they have some really good guard play.. and some depth.. |
