I remember starting poll like this on NOSF in 2010 and somewhere around 2015 as well.
"Twenty-xx" was beginning to become more popular than "Two-thousand-xx" the 2nd time I did it, and I've also figured for years now that 2020 would be the year that "Twenty-xx" would finally take over in a massive majority over "Two-thousand-xx" because of the way it sounds, and because that the way 20/20 is pronounced for both the vision term and the ABC show.
Personally, I made it a point to start using "Twenty-xx" in 2010 and have been using that to describe all years since then, while still using "Two-thousand-xx" when referring to the years 2000-2009. Though sometimes I'll slip up and say "two thousand fourteen" or slip up the other way and say something like "twenty-oh-two"

Twenty Twenty. In 1985 we didn't say "one thousand nine hundred eigty five". No, it was "nineteen eighty five".
