If the ScoreStream updates are correct, the Whippets went on a 19-0 run from near the end of the third and into the fourth quarter to pull away. Anyone at the game that can confirm this?

Marion Pleasant 42 Ontario 57 F Ontario scored 24 in the first quarter, looking as good as they have all year. Then they started taking bad shots and throwing the ball away. And scored 32 over the last 3 quarters. Shaver had 7 in the first quarter and was held scoreless the rest of the way when Ontario struggled. Kurtz took up the slack with 19. Ontario Freshmen over Pleasant 40-37 in double OT, their 5th win in a row. Ontario JVs remain undefeated, winning 45-36, their 3rd game without their 6-5 post.

Galion 75 Buckeye Central 77 Final Alsip scores 40 in this game. Tough game to lose for the Tigers. I have been able to see this kid play. He is being mentioned in the same breathe as another Galion scorer from the past. If you have been lucky enough to see them both, they should not be mentioned together. IMO

I believe he is at 24.2 ppg after last night's game. -Another interesting stat after last night's loss: Galion's coach Bobby Gossom is now 1-50 coaching boys varsity. His only career win is this season against an 0-9 Bucyrus team.

I can appreciate the discussion on your coach but do not forget the interesting fact that he was interviewed and removed from the candidate list only to be called back and offered the job when the remaining others decided to walk away. This is not a coaching problem it is a Galion problem. Even the 0-9 team you mentioned just had multiple applicants and hired a veteran coach.
