but we now have a really good shot at Regional Finals, as I think we beat Perkins -then the Elyria bracket is nothing special . It's hard to argue that. I think the winner of the Perkins/Willard game plays Napoleon in the regional finals.

Shelby was up 42-37 after three then proceeded to lay an egg in the final eight minutes, hitting two free throws only. Multiple missed layups and had several turnovers. Plus they went into the triangle stall out top which I am not a fan of. Went on a nice run to end the third quarter then we took the air out of the ball. If you’re up double digits I can understand it. But don’t do it in a two possession game. Willard hit a couple 3’s to start the quarter then panic set in. Disappointing loss but a good game both ways. Future very bright in Shelby in hopes of making a run the next couple years. Time for change for dogs!!

Lantz does a nice job with the girls but all the regular season success isn’t translating to post season success. I have a feeling their time is coming. This sophomore class is really talented and by their senior year could make a nice run.

Forgive me for asking; is Coach Santaro officially on the hot seat? Probably the bigger question is will he even want to keep coaching once his youngest daughter graduates?

No I'm not saying Willard won't win. Lady Flashes certainly capable. Just too close to call, IMHO

Boys play the same night if I read everything right. Which is a shame as the crowd gets cut in half.

If this is the case ... better change the boys as well. Seems both coaches have a problem with a double digit lead late in the game against the Flashes. The boys program was the last 2 years in a row!!

My guess is they have no interest in hosting an event and that is why they are idle.

I was there. Did not see the confrontation itself, but I do recall seeing the Norwalk parent flipping the double bird to everyone before walking out of the gym. This was right before Bellevue was about to start cutting down to south net, and the reaction of most around me was "what's his problem?"
I will stress, as I did in my first post about this topic, at that point in time neither I or anyone around me knew about the hair pull (which by this point had happened over an hour in the past.) All we knew when the hair pull happened was that a Norwalk girl had gone down hard and that their fans were livid at the refs, but we didn't see what happened since it was away from the ball and our side of the gym didn't provide the best angle to see it anyway.
I can't speak for whether or not other Bellevue fans or the Bellevue bench saw it. However, I will say that, given the on court officials apparently didn't see it either, that it is entirely within the realm of possibility that Kory Santoro also did not see it. So it's possible that whatever confrontation sport24278 is talking about happened at a point in time when Kory was not yet fully aware of the details of the hair pulling incident. Same thing goes for Carly's infamous "weave it alone" tweet btw.

I did see a some what animated discussion between Santoro and someone during the warm ups for the second game ... but nothing that I thought was out of the ordinary considering what he had just gone thru.
