Ontario-62 Highland-42 Final Ontario started the game with a hangover from the Shelby game. No one was shooting well. Joe resorted to a Shelby like helter shelter pressing trapping defense to create offense and wake the troops up. About half way through the first, Shaver got warmed up, Kurtz didn't make a basket until the 2nd half. Then had to sit down with a sprained ankle. 6-4 post Jon Nagel wasn't at the game. 6-4 Soph Amil Urchurch had to sit down in the 3rd with a bloody mouth. Joe had to go a lot deeper in the bench to get 5 healthy players on the floor. Both Kurtz and Upchurch played later with no ill effect. Ontario won JV game 58-16 after leading 32-4 at half.

They weren’t up 19 in the fourth quarter. Third quarter yes. I would be interested to know WF, in all the years of watching your beloved Warriors how many times they have blown that big of a lead in the last 10-12 minutes of play. Can’t imagine it’s happened very often. Typo thanks, will correct.

Can’t imagine it’s happened very often. None, but you'd have to ask Jim Warne to be sure. He'd be able to tell you the year, the team, they exact final score and what the weather was like. I just remember the several times Joe's teams have come back from deficits like that at half-time to win by double digits. Do you think Shelby could do it again?

Galion with the win but it wasn't pretty. Galion almost gave it away.

Looked like Ontario pulled a Norwalk against the Whippets. Was Norwalk up by 19 with 5:30 to play in the 3rd? Truckers were up 7 with 1:15 left in game.
