I forget who the other one was. J.T. Tuimoloau? Yah, that's the kid. He is, like 6-5 280 sde Funny, the two top rated kids in the '21 class are sde's, and with our earth shaking history at the position, with the Bosa's and Young, where else would you want to go??? If we can pull both Egbuka and Tuimoloau, what a way to finish out a historically talented class!

Yeah Egbuka and JT are the two players from Washington to keep an eye on. Both are heavy favorites for Ohio State. But you never know in the recruiting world.
Ohio State is also a huge contender for the ‘22 class top ranked receiver from Missouri. Obviously that’s a long ways off but him and Hartline already have a good connection.

Boom! Ohio State receives commit from 4* OLB Gabe Powers from Marysville. Big, strong, fast and an intelligent kid. I see many strong similarities to 2021 commit, ILB Reid Carrico. 2022 class is off to a great start.

B1G did no favors to the Bucks. Three game stretch in october features Nebraska, MSU and scUM back to back. MSU will be a cluster F this year, every year Nebraska turns out to be not as good as expected. The Big Ten could have added Minny or Wisconsin to Ohio State's schedule, instead they added Purdue. Ohio State gets a bye the week before that 3 game stretch begins. There will be NO white out AT PSU this year, empty or almost empty stadiums couldn't happen at a better time.

B1G did no favors to the Bucks. Three game stretch in october features Nebraska, MSU and scUM back to back. I literally laughed out loud to this. Penn St is the only school that is near the talent level of Ohio St and their best player (Parsons) is opting out. Take a look at Rutger’s schedule. 4 of the first 5 are Nebraska, Ohio St, Michigan and Penn St

BOOM! 2022 Altoona, Georgia TE Bennett Christian committs to the Buckeyes. Bennett had narrowed his decision to Tennessee or Ohio State. Tenn. had a strong appeal, since his father was a standout for the Volunteers.

Alabama received a committment from 3* TE out of Rock Hill, S.C. yesterday. It was enough to nudge the Tide a slim point margin ahead of the Buckeyes. The 2021 recruiting crown is going to go down to the wire. Alabama how has (21) hard committs for the 2021 recruiting class, where Ohio State only has (19) hard recruits and the Buckeyes were expected to take a few more total committments than Bama to start with. Consequently, things seem to favor the Buckeyes to be sitting at the top of the college football world when signing day rolls around.

It's always fun and interesting to study the various college football polls and rankings, this early in the football season. The biggest laugh goes to the Coaches Poll, that penalizes Big Ten teams for their brief hiatus, consequently the coaches moved Ohio State from 2nd to the bottom of the top ten, because they haven't played a game yet. But wait, neither has #2 Alabama, #3 Georgia, #5 LSU, #6 Florida or #8 Auburn played a stinking game....lol
Despite my rather dim view of ESPN, their SP+ poll is a very fair and accurate barometer of where teams stand. I copied and pasted this weeks poll and yes, the Buckeyes are ranked #1. What I like about their poll, they go to all the investigation, research and analysis to fully rank teams, #1 thru #91.

The Class of 2021 College recruiting crown is going to go down to the wire. Ohio State and Alabama are in a virtual tie at the moment at 304. 09 to 304.17 If things go as projected, Ohio State finishes strong, picking up two 5* players, who have been heavy leans, in 5* WR Emeka Egbuka and 5* J.T Tuimoloa, should earn them the recruiting crown.

The '11 Warriors' story said Coach Day and his staff was confused and I'm totally confused. The NCAA has granted an extra years eligibility to all players, even seniors. But they have kept their 85 man scholarship limit in place. Either, I'm missing something or there will be at least 23 or whatever the incoming Class of '21 shapes up to be, devoid of a scholarship. The NCAA ruling sounds to me, that this years seniors, who opt to return for the extra years eligibility, will be doing it on their own buck. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

QB Quinn Ewers from the Dallas area, the #1 player in the COUNTRY in the 2022 class, has decommitted from Texas and the "crystal balls" are saying he will commit to Ohio State. Ohio State first offered this kid when they saw him at their camp when he was an 8th grader, at the time he was better than all the high school QBs at the camp. He's said to be the best QB coming out of high school since Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields.

ALSO from Texas, originally thought to be a sure Texas commit. Many are saying these players not going to Texas and the way the Long Horns are playing is the end of Tom Herman. They were supposed to be Herman's "firewall".

They were supposed to be Herman's "firewall". If you recall, most of Urban's years, the Buckeyes were very slow, out of the gate, on recruiting. Not the case with coach Day. The Buckeyes have acquired key 4* & 5* committments early on, which has a snowballing effect for those important recruits, who may have otherwise, wavered. Day's staff has those early recruits join in the recruiting process, from a players perspective, so they hear from their potential team mates, a great recruiting tool. Besides all the other important criteria, every player wants to part of a great recruiting class.

The interesting thing about Herman at Texas, he tried to replicate Ohio State football under Urban at Texas. He currently has like 6 former Ohio State coaches and Admin staff at Texas now. MUCH easier for Day to take over what Urban built at Ohio State and tweak it a bit for the better. Big boosters in Texas REALLY would like to get Urban(the real thing) to replace Herman.
I can remember when Herman left Ohio State for Houston, I hoped he'd come back to Ohio State as head coach when Urban retired. Urban and Gene Smith found someone WAY more capable to continue the legacy in Ryan Day.

yeah i though Herman would be a shoo-in as Urban's successor, he really nose dived, Day is perhaps the most important hire in OSU history in terms of his ability to attract and develop QBs in a QB dominant era at a school that has perplexingly never produced 1st round NFL QBs...Schlichter was the last one before Haskins

MSU is threatening an upset in Ann Arbor, before 110,000 absent fans.
Watching Clemson's struggles against BC, reveal a defense that is vulnerable. If I hear "the #1 team in the country", "Americas #1 team", "The top team in the country", "#1 team in America" etc., etc., etc. So we've heard this 50 or 60 times. Enough already!

Losing respect for Herbie. He is so careful not to show favoritism to OSU, but put his kids at Clemson and he can’t stop gushing over them. Maybe he’s hoping it will move them up the depth chart.

The futility continues in Ann Arbor. Harbaugh's got my vote for 'Big Ten Coach of the Year'. It never goes to an Ohio State coach, so it might as well, go to our best recruiter.
Pulling for Texas, but their defensive backfield is terrible. The late 1st qtr. OSU passing td was the result of an illegal pick, no flag.
LSU is officially on the trash heap of has beens.
