Sandusky played like garbage the first 3 quarters. 29 points after 3. Waited too long to get anything going. Norwalk executed a hell of a game plan. This was a bad home loss for Sandusky.

It's a team game, can't blame it all on one kid. Let's give Norwalk some credit.

Now I’ve seen Staveskie in 2020 and I’ve also seen Dials, Langhurst, Haraway and many other good 6 footers over the years. He is the shortest of those mentioned, imo not the pure shooter Langhurst was and can’t really compare to Ben (totally different players) Also in watching those mentioned they ALL played much much better competition.

First off never prisoner of moment lol.. they loss too a mediocre Norwalk team.. up until that point facts speak for themselves they were 17-0.. As far as Tahj I seen seen Langhusrt played against him and dials I saw Ben and Brandon imo Tahj has higher level play than all them.. Langhusrt solid shooter but wasn't near the athlete or quickness Tahj have dials was never a point guard in high school.. Brandon better athlete overall than Tahj not a better shooter than tahj.. Ben overall good point guard Tahj scores better than him.. I don't even compare Tahj too none of those area guys Xavier Simpson dimitirc trice are some college level players currently I would compare Tahj too.. I was at game they box 1 and triple teamed Tahj all game if that's not a sign of respect I don't know any other guard in the state that faces triple double teams every game and every time he crosses half court they send 2 or 3 people too trap him all game.. Tahj teammates let him down tonight they were getting straight line drives all game and couldn't convert layups... Coaching was very suspect for Sandusky as well I think Gray out coached Irish tonight.. That was the game plan do not let STAVESKIE BEAT US TONIGHT!!! they did that and won

Gray definitely schemed the hell out of Sandusky. Tahj made the right basketball plays. He got his guys open looks. A lot of them didn’t fall tonight. Tahj did force a couple of bad shots but then I feel after his air ball he got a little gun shy.
All in all, this Sandusky team was never beating Rogers imo, but now idk if they keep it within 20.

Irish usually gets out coached.
When a player is getting triple teamed he should stand in a corned of the half court and let his four teammates go 4 on 2 for 100 points.
Sandusky will never be ranked in the AP Top 10.

He is a better athlete than Langhurst however with that against him (Jim rat) he scored at the same level in a MUCH better league... Not hating but seriously what position would he (Tahj) play at the college level? Ben was a pg and got a free education, Jimmy was a combo guard that was a fine distributor, Brandon probably the most similar not the shooter however more athletic and 3 inches taller...

This forum is too funny, please keep it going.
An “outsider” looking in (I identify with Darry or Soda Pop) but who cares if Sandusky is ranked in the Top 10. Does that get you anything.....
As for this kid.... some think he is good, some don’t, what’s the point of arguing.

The argument is if he is a big time recruit that one poster seems to think he is.

Irish took over at the right time, he does not make adjustments and tonight gray took him to school Please explain the comment, "Irish took over at the right time". IN his first year he won more games than the previous three years combined with similar teams. His first season he won more games than any Sandusky team had won in the previous 20+ years.

I like the Mr Williams comment earlier that Sandusky has a RICH basketball tradition? Starting when I have been in this area since the 80’s or basically 40 years and I can’t remember even a final 4 and maybe a couple regional apps.?? Maybe I was sleeping on them at some point but that’s a long time

Yes let me rephrase that, no is saying the kids “isn’t good” just not “good enough” to play major D1.
I’m going to go with my gut here and say hopefully he chooses an education and school paid for, before he gets nothing. You can always transfer to bigger and better, but get that Poop paid for, so you don’t have to ask the government for money.

I wouldn't rip the Sandusky kid for not having a great game last night, Id give all credit to the two players from Norwalk that put the clamps on him and shut him down. Awesome coaching scheme from Norwalk`s side. The refs from last night, oh lord....

Nobody that I have seen is ripping him however if you have read prior posts you would see there is mention of folks like Xavier Simpson etc... As for Norwalk D Souder deserves every accolade you want to provide. The refs were very bad down the stretch FACT

Sandusky does not have a rich Basketball History. Solid teams, yes, history/tradition, no.
1970-79 91-108 1980-89 94-126 1990-99 168-58 2000-09 112-109 2010-19 127-108 2020-. 17-1
592-510 .537
Just over mediocre.

I thought they were there in the early 90’s Pacemaker however more district titles than I thought
However 2 regional appearances in 20 plus years (most recent) is far from “tradition rich” good run in the 90s though

If a recent local player has the skill to play at Stetson(D1) then Tahj should have numerous offers by now.
