Ontario-62 Harding-44 Final Ontario takes JV game by 15. Harding won Frosh game Everybody is worried about keeping track of Shaver and Kurtz. They need to start worrying about Shaq Coburn. He had 25 tonight after getting 28 against Galion. He is really stroking the ball well. Things could have gotten chippy in the 4th, but Shaver ignored Harding's tactics. One PG tried to tie Shaver up, Shaver wouldn't go of the ball. So he hooked Shaver's arm and threw him to the ground and almost stood over him, but decided to walk past him. One and one. That PG was taken out and another was put on him. Shaver faked him on his rear end and drove by him. Next trip down the court Shaver was about to beat him again and he just shoved Shaver to the ground using both hands. That time an intentional foul was called. Both times Shaver just acted like they were ticky tack fouls. |

The Galion/Pleasant game was uglier than the final score indicated, Pleasant was up as much as 30 when the backups came in.

Not a pretty win for the Whippets. Wouldn’t be surprised to hear they turned it over 30 times. And I would guess they missed 8-10 lay-up’s as well. Yet they still find ways to win games at the end. Pugh with close to 30. Congrats on the outright league title.
