Royalballdad,,curious to hear your hot take. Please refrain from adding WHS into this thread as it has nada to do with this game.
I think CC matches up better than WHS did to OG.

I think CC is pretty confident and their big guys are athletic,,,so that gives em a chance.

The more video of CC that I've seen,,the more I'm impressed. 5 quality players who are mega experienced. If they can get past being on the big stage against a Top program in Ohio without melting (OG),,I'd like to think they hold their own. I'm impressed with their coach too.

Not sure where heaping praise for CC is coming from Buckeye? I get they beat your Flashes however if you look at the CC resume their biggest regular season win was probably Wynford? Other than that they lost twice to Upper once by 30 and also a down Lex team. Then after beating your beloved Flashes they beat a decent Eastwood team who’s biggest win prior to upsetting WR was probably Fostoria, By the they lost to OH by 10 and also to OG 82-48. So based on the above what leads you to the conclusion CC can hang with OG other than the Willard game??? Not saying they won’t but just asking???

I have no agenda with what I'm saying. I just think they have a good team based on what I saw. I think they match up better against OG than we would have based on their 3 physical big guys. Their guards are not spectacular but solid. OG at D3 is a nightmare for a lot of teams. Would almost say the size of the crowd that they'll bring to BG will be intimidating in itself. I don't expect a CC win either just so you know. Just giving em some props ahead of time.

Good luck to Sandusky today as well as two Lake teams at BG would be great. If Sandusky were to win a good chance to get to regional finals awaits from there who knows

Saw OG play LimaSenior earlier this season. Front line goes 6’6”, 6’7”, 6’7”. Very athletic bigs. The pressure they will put on CC will cause lots of problems. If the Willard press got them back in the game, OG will do this from the start. I imagine CC will play with them for maybe a couple quarters but I can see this one getting out of hand. I would say OG wins by 15-20 points. And yes, if Stroh holds 5,000 you better expect 60% of them to be from Putnam County. They travel real well. Planning on going to this one.

Not many people giving CC a chance in this one. One thing for sure is they will show up and compete. If CC shoots lights out and rebounds i think they can keep it close and give themselves at least a fighting chance. It’s tournaments and stranger things have happened.

OHSAA getting involved in Corona Virus hysteria This is getting out of control. What a shame if only immediate family can attend.

OHSAA getting involved in Corona Virus hysteria Are they ? Haven't heard nothing official yet. Probably still won't notice a difference in the crowd attendance, Watching it on T.V. I don't know anybody that's interested in going, Even without the virus.

Yes. It's official. You can go to games tonight, but starting tomorrow, immediate family only. This includes the girl's state basketball tournament, the boy's state wrestling tournament, and the boy's state basketball tournament.

Can't wait to see all the virology experts in here going on about how these precautions, by all of these professionally-advised organizations, are misled.

Kids can go to school with the players they just can’t watch them play sports outside of school hours.

Kids can go to school with the players they just can’t watch them play sports outside of school hours. Not worried about "kids" getting sick from players at school. Worried about 10's of thousands of people intermingling in close quarters over the next 2 weeks at the Regional and State tournaments. Restrooms being used, touching railings and door handle, rubbing elbows and sitting on the same seats as people from previous games. One cough or sneeze infects how many? THOSE students coming home and going to school and adults going to work is the worry. It wasn't just a coincidence that the announcement was made the say day that the first 3 cases in Ohio were pronounced occurring in Cleveland.

Look at the number of influenza deaths this year...

I agree PW. I mean is it more deadly than the common flu or cold? What's next,,advising we don't go to Church? I'm shocked that I would ever see this in my lifetime what the OHSAA just did.

I wonder what size ticket allotment each school gets?

I wonder what size ticket allotment each school gets? Each member of team is allotted 4 tickets is my understanding at this time. Figure 20 members per team including coaches translates into maybe 160 or so allowed to go to game. Havn’t heard if all the tickets that were pre sold will be refunded or not. I heard CC had pre sold a fairly large amount.
