Plumley announced yesterday that he would be leaving Cardington Lincoln and taking the head coach position at Bucyrus. Plumley went 1-9 in his only season with the Pirates.

yikes, what is it going to take for Bucyrus to right the ship?
Bruner won a lot of games in a weaker league, but still they were consistent.

I wasn’t at all surprised by this. He owns Mohican Sports Medicine in Bucyrus.

I wasn’t at all surprised by this. He coached 1 year, and owned a 1-9 record. Fixed Typical of Bucyrus, sadly.

Actually, not a bad hire. He is from Bucyrus, was an assistant there many years, and knows the program well. He will have a lot of work to do, especially in getting kids involved in the program. But, I think this is a much better hire than some inexperienced kid right out of college. From what I saw at Cardington, he was making progress, though it may not have shown in the win loss column. I wish him the best of luck.

I agree, a good hire for Bucyrus. He knows the senior class from when he was there before, and probably worked with some of the other kids even when he was at Cardington, through his business. He obviously is invested in Bucyrus through his business. Good luck to him.
