7:30 on FOX
This is the 3rd all time meeting between these 2 programs, with the series currently tied 1-1 (Oklahoma won in Columbus in 1977 and Ohio State won at Norman in 1983)

If my history is correct, that 1977 loss was devastating. A close game, I think.

THE Ohio State University has rented Oklahoma's basketball arena for a sold out pep rally prior to the football game. Oklahoma U must be short on cash. I wonder what it costs to rent their basketball arena for one day?

Urban said he wanted to establish the running game against Tulsa, but knowing Oklahoma was beat up by a passing game against Houston maybe he did not want to show off any pass plays. I hope the plan is for Barrett having a huge day and Samuel and Weber eating up the field.

Ooooh, if OSU wins impressively this week, it'd be nice to see Mark May at ESPN (not North Coast) report this. Hee hee hee hee!!
The Big Ten has been pretty impressive this year, so far.

I wonder what it costs to rent their basketball arena for one day? When Ohio State came to Berkeley in 2013 they held a pep rally in the famous Greek Theater which is next to the stadium. We were having a drink in the Fan Zone next to the south entrance when the rally broke up. Here came The Ohio State Marching Band followed by thousands of Buckeye fans. The band went into the stadium and the fans descended on the Fan Zone. Very impressive. I'm going to the Texas game on Saturday. I'm curious as to how Longhorn fans compare to Buckeye fans.

If my history is correct, that 1977 loss was devastating. A close game, I think. I was at that 1977 game. It was a hell of a game. Bucks fell way behind, three TDs I think, but came back to take the lead in the 2nd half. That comeback was rare for a run-dominated Woody Hayes offense that just didn't pass well. OU scored late and recovered an onside kick when a reserve QB Mike Strahine couldn't handle the kick. That set the Sooners up for a long FG to win it. I don't recall seeing too many games with as huge swing in emotions as that one.

I recall heading out to High St to celebrate after the game but it was before most students were back on campus for fall quarter and the place was dead.

Most that pick Oklahoma say the same thing, 'they have more to lose', 'means more to them', 'Wanting it more' etc. Heard those same sentiments from those on the panel of experts making their game picks for Oklahoma on ESPN.
The mental aspect is only a minor factor in the scope of things.
Game plan strategy and ability to execute them successfully. Offensive efficiency, defensive execution, strengths against weaknesses on both sides of the ball, red-zone efficiency, turnovers, capitalizing on talent disparities and finally, capitalizing on individual and team speed advantages.
Football is an extremely complex game, when you really think about it.

It's complex only if you make it so.

It was an awesome catch - almost feel sorry for that defender - almost.
Great half - now just continue the momentum and finish the second half.

Michigan fields garbage. Beat a top-10 team. UH....this isn't a "top-10 team". HOWEVER.....Michigan State was ranked #7 in 2014 and in 2015 Notre Dame was ranked #8 when Ohio State won those games with JT at the helm.

Did we beat the spread?....lol Football played in dominating fashion on both sides of the ball. All I heard about was how bad-*** the Boomers down-linemen were. Noah Brown was impressive, but the offensive line were dominant in this one and the defensive front showed their attitude tonight. Weber proved himself to be one tough hombre running between the tackles, to compliment the amazing performance put forth by Curtiss Samuel.
The 97 yard kick return for a TD that wasn't, the TV analysts pointed out and replays confirmed the ball was casually dropped at about the two yard. A huge gaff by game officials, that should have had the wits about them to call for a review. Or maybe they were gawking at the cheerleaders at the time. The thing that was not mentioned, Paris Campbell wasn't anymore alert than the officials. He was running line of pursuit and could have simply fell on the ball, it would have been a touchback or Ohio State ball on the 1 or 2. A close game, it may have been an issue. For sure, game film time, Urban will mention that fact.
A lot of questions were answered tonight and skeptics silenced. Expect some action on the recruiting front, as a result of tonight's big stage performance.
