Being locked up in the house, the kids and I have been scrounging for things to do. We got so bored we dug out the 35 year old scrap books and starting reminiscing. I thought it would be nice to start a thread to hear about some of my fellow poster's playing days. A place to brag a little. Let's hear about your playing days. What sports did you play? What sports did you excel at? What were some of your most memorable games? A personal sports bio!
I was on the football team at Sandusky when I was in HS. I was terrible. Little work ethic, wasn't committed to it at all, and was so far down the depth chart that I needed scuba gear. FF to the late 90's when I'm coaching at PHS (where I'm the football/soccer PA announcer now), and we were playing at Strobel against SMCC, and walking to the visitor's sideline with Shane Burrows, and I told him that I had "played" there in HS, and walking across the field was the most time I ever spent on the field.
