With the old NOSF site being down it's hard to let everyone know about this new site. We've been doing what we can to spread the word via social media and contacting any NOSF members we know.
If you have found this place and know of any NOSF members you can contact, please let them know about our new home.

Not that I care, but has anyone noticed that JJHuddle is basically dead? Little to no postings or activity. Kind of strange

This was not thought out very well. Administrators of the former site should have made the change notice prior to shutting down the former site.

This was not thought out very well. Administrators of the former site should have made the change notice prior to shutting down the former site. NOSF admins didn't shut down anything, and had no control over the situation. NOSF was created on a free message board hosting site called excoboard.com, and was just one of a few hundred or so message boards hosted on the site. It is that entire excoboard site that has apparently crashed for good, taking all those message boards with it (excoboard was bought by a new owner about a year ago who stated plans for updating the features, but it appears that he's given up on it and just let the whole thing die without giving anyone any notice) So now we're on another free message board hosting site called proboards.com, and it's a much more modern and stable situation than excoboard, with a ton of new features that we never had on NOSF.

Here I was getting worried that I lost NOSF for good. Who else was I going to share my passion for High School Football with?

Just curious, what did you search for that lead you here? I googled "Northern Ohio Sports Forum". One of the results was nosf.boards.net, which brought me here. nosf.boards.net was the original name of this new message board. As of right now that url still redirects here to the new ncoast url, but that's only a 2 week thing that will probably come to an end on Saturday. So we need to try to get things from this board to show up in google searches, and the following block of text is an attempt to do just that: Northern Ohio Sports Forum, NOSF, NOSF forum, excoboard, excoboard/nosf, nol.iwarp, North Central Ohio Northern Ohio League, NOL, NOL football, NOL basketball, NOL Champions, NOL forum Sandusky Bay Conference, SBC, SBC football, SBC basketball, SBC expansion, Bay division, River division, Sandusky RIver League, SBC Champions, SBC forum Firelands Conference, FC, FC football, FC basketball, FC Champions, FC forum Northern 10 conference, N10, N10 football, N10 basketball, N10 Champions, N10 forum Ohio Cardinal Conference, OCC, OCC football, OCC basketball, OCC Champions, OCC forum Three Rivers Athletic Conference, TRAC, TRAC football, TRAC basketball, TRAC Champions, TRAC forum Mid Ohio Athletic Conference, MOAC, MOAC football, MOAC basketball, MOAC Champions, MOAC forum Little Big 7, Little Big 6, Little Big 5, Little Big 4, North Central Conference, NCC, Midland Athletic Conference, MAL, Greater Buckeye Conference, GBC, Bellevue Redmen, Norwalk Truckers, Ontario Warriors, Sandusky Blue Streaks, Shelby Whippets, Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes, Willard Crimson Flashes, Clyde Fliers, Edison Chargers, Huron Tigers, Margaretta Polar Bears, Oak Harbor Rockets, Perkins Pirates, Port Clinton Redskins, Crestview Cougars, Mapleton Mounties, Monroeville Eagles, New London Wildcats, Plymouth Big Red, South Central Trojans, St. Paul Flyers, Western Reserve Roughriders, Buckeye Central Bucks, Bucyrus Redmen, Carey Blue Devils, Colonel Crawford Eagles, Mohawk Warriors, Seneca East Tigers, Upper Sandusky Rams, Wynford Royals, Ashland Arrows, Clear Fork Colts, Lexington Minutemen, Mansfield Madison Rams, Mansfield Senior Tygers, Findlay Trojans, Fremont Ross Little Giants, Lima Senior Spartans, Galion Tigers, Marion Harding Presidents, Fostoria Redmen Jon Diebler, Nick Dials, Jimmy Langhurst, Jeff Thomas, Mike Buurma, Bob Green, Larry Siegfried, Charlie Frye, Chad Kuhns Bob Haas, Greg Nossaman, Keith Diebler, Steve Gray, Lyle Falknor, Ed Nasonti, Tony Legando, John Livengood

I've been clicking on my NOSF access icon almost daily.....just in case. Today, I did a search and it directed me to this Northcoast site. Good to see some of the old familiar names appearing. Thanks for the complete explanation on what went down with NOSF BB (formerly OSU Josh) Unfortunately, a lot of content and history was lost when NOSF vaporized. Again, great to see you guys again in our new neighborhood and look forward to seeing many more familiar usernames as this site becomes more known and continues to develop.

This is traditionally our 'off season' with HS sports in the spring countdown and before football gets revved up.
The pro sports sections should see a bit of life during the Cavs run & hopefully Indians this summer but the more we can build now and get our old members back, the better.

Welcome to those who have been trickling in over the past couple months.
If you know any former NOSF posters who haven't yet landed here, help us spread the word about the new site!
If you're wondering what happened to NOSF, here's a basic summary I posted earlier on this thread:

I found an EXCOboard page on Facebook too, maybe by someone on here leading me to it. In any event, many of them were shorted much as we were and I shared this location with them too. One of the sites was much larger than us, and I was stunned. They had over 6000 members and then they were gone... Ouch!
