well the power 5 had a meeting today and it looks like its bleak.most of big ten presidents want to cancel fall sports including football and they will move them to spring. the big ten is looking what conference becomes the first domino to fall and then the rest of the conferences will drop fall sports.the rest of conference meetings will be this week and we will find out the rest of the dominos fall. and if they drop eventually high school fall sports including football will be in the spring.that only pro football left not much an alternative left with the nfl has been lately.and if the virus gets the nfl then there will be nothing left in the fall to do or watch which means the devil and the radicals have won and then we will start to go insane without any sports to watch.hope for the best but the worst is expected like cancelling football maybe all levels.

well the dominos has started to drop first the mid american conference and today the conference that tiffin and findlay are in has cancelled major contact sports including football till next spring and then the mountain west cancelled all sports and now the big ten and pac12 has called off fall sports and play these sports in the spring.also the pac12 also postphone men and ladies basketball till january 21. if playing football in the spring where is the revenue going to come from because you are into mlb season and espn,espn2,fox,fox sports1 have baseball tv contracts to honor and how much attendence will be allowed.with the presidents of these conferences not deciding the players their choice of playing or not, then a possibility of a college players association will be formed and the institutions and the ncaa could be in trouble. i see the SEC the last conference to go down with the ACC on the fence. i just saw that the ACC &SEC will gone on with their seasons as planned.i wonder if will weaken the big ten and pac 12 stance.the problems is the doctors in each conferences are saying different things and not getting together to make a right decisions.no wonder why the country is heading in the wrong direction and toward socialism.

Thank you Big Ten and Pac 12 for giving the remaining Power Five a huge opportunity and huge advantage, handed on a golden plate. We now know, there will be a 2020 National Champion. Surely, the ACC and SEC will follow suit and get in the mix.

im sure that the ncaa and the college presidents will not allow a national championship game with the conferences split on playing or not than the ncaa should rule that there will be no national championship and playoff games allowed unless the big ten and pac 12 gets on board because if they would play in the spring the players will opt out so they can get prepared for the nfl draft so they dont get injured,.this would definitly hurt ohio state because a few of their good players would sit out so they wouldnt get hurt when the nfl draft occurs.

How does this happen? The medical advisors for the Big Ten see a report and recommend they cancel operations worth hundreds of millions but yet the ACC medical advisor can see the same report and suggest they can operate safely? Makes no logical sense to me. Feeds the idea there is other actions at play on this.

I agree, but after thinking about this situation a bit further, think the there will be a playoff formula that selects it's 4 teams from the results of both the fall 2020 and spring 2021 football. Most proabably, teams that elected for this fall, can and will be involved in any revised playoff formula, following the spring games. With this, any advantage the fall teams may have enjoyed with a full roster of their best players, may look quite different by late spring. I also think that as details get ironed out, the whole scenario will be far less distateful, for most of us. Regardless, no matter how smoothly things may pan out for the spring football and subsequent playoffs (if there is any), will have a negative impact on the regular 2021 fall season. Here's hoping the coaches appeals, to allow early enrolees to participate in the spring games, is successful. Heck, early enrollees can participate in spring conditioning, practices and spring games in the past, it would be unreasonable to say they can't participate in regulation games, during the same period.

Will there be Bowl games for Conference and Division Champions in the SEC, ACC and Big12 to play in? I am certain there will be no Rose Bowl or Fiesta Bowl since the PAC10 opted out.

THE REST of the student population, professors and staff are not tested. A friend's daughter was accepted as a main campus student at Ohio State. ALL Freshman MUST live on campus in dorms, even if all of their classes are on line. After that, they can go anywhere and do anything they like, UNCONTROLLED. Think about it. The vast majority of Fall athletes are on athletic scholarships. Their tuition, housing, food and books are paid for. That 18 year old girl, that does not have an academic scholarship is paying tuition and MUST pay for room and board. Follow the money. The medical advisors are worried about strapping young men that get tested twice a week and are under VERY strict guidance?? But could care less about the general student population.
