Weeks 4-9 are going to be moved into Weeks 1-6. The Week 10 matchup is dropped unless the two schools want to reschedule after being eliminated from the playoffs. This also means that the sites for some games are now flipped to be able to give each school 3 home and 3 away(Ex: Upper vs CC is now at Upper).

Sounds like a good plan, but I don't think it will get to happen. If rumors about Big 10 and OSU are true, I think Dewine will pull the plug the very next day.

The N10 has announced their modified 6 game schedule. All league games. northern10.com/I hope both Upper and Bucyrus op out of the playoff and schedule each other week 7. It is a winnable game for both, and would replace a probably replace a butt kicking from a high seed. In addition, hope several others opt out also and schedule the remaining weeks. This is assuming that we do have football this year. Final comment. RIP Bucyrus Galion series. 100 plus years now done, since they are not on each other's schedule for the future. I was a great series for many years, but it is time to move on, since the schools are on different levels now, football wise

I think his Lt Governor (who he's deferred athletics too throughout this whole thing) believes otherwise...a good indicator for those wanting a season.

Saw Wynford tonight in a scrimmage against a nice Northmor team. Royals look really stout on D and explosive on O with a very good, quality skill player set. Should be fun!

Saw Bucyrus play Cardington on live stream. Cardington totally dominated the line of scrimmage. Bucyrus can’t tackle. Royals will start third quarter with running clock. Wynford by 50.

I couldn't find Wynford game on the WMFD website either. My apologies. I'll correct. I must have mis-heard. They should be though, unless Wynford has made other arrangements. They are going to have a good season.

Seneca East 35, Buckeye Central 16
Wynford 54, Bucyrus 6
Colonel Crawford 16, Carey 7
Mohawk 42, Upper Sandusky 0
Nice win for CC in what I thought was a pretty even matchup. I don't think either team will say they played their best game. Both teams were trying to find what they could and couldn't do. That's what you get with only one scrimmage before going into a tough N10 league game. The other games were as expected IMO.

Tied for the state's longest losing streak, Buckeye Central has a chance to break that this week I have been around football for many, many years as a player and as a football official. (Now retired). As a Bucyrus alum, I have watched the Redmen on 4 live-streams. They have the worst offensive line I have EVER seen. They do not fire off the ball, and have been totally dominated each week. Though they have some decent skill players, the can not be utilized because the line is so bad. On the other hand, BC can run the ball. They will undoubtably control the line of scrimmage. BC will win by three touchdowns.

BC will end its 35-game losing this week and do so in convincing fashion.

Here is a thought, OldNo72 (I know your real identity, but I will keep that to myself as to not embarrass you or your family name). If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all! When is the last time you even attended a Bucyrus game? You sure do like to bash our kids on this forum, and on the live streams during the game. It didn't take much to figure out who OldNo72 is, based on your comments in both places. Now that we have that cleared up, let me educate you a little bit on the current football landscape at Bucyrus. Are we in a down year? Yes. Did we hire a new coach during a pandemic with multiple new coaches on staff? Yes. Did we graduate 14 seniors from last years 5-5 team? Yes. So let me get this straight. You want to bash our kids who bust their butt every Friday night? The last thing they or the parents need to see after getting beat each week is a bunch of negative crap spewed all over the internet from you! This team graduated 14 seniors, hired a new coach, had a large turnover of the coaching staff, and had to go through a pandemic without any contact until almost June. Anyone that is close to the Bucyrus program knew it was going to be a down year. Yes, we have 8 seniors this year. Two of those seniors have varsity experience both on the offensive and defensive lines. I am going to break down the demographics of this team for you, because you obviously have no idea. You just see us getting beat week after week, with absolutely no clue of the situation. QB - Junior with zero experience at QB and hasn't played football since 8th grade. Freshman QB with middle school experience only RB - A junior with very limited varsity experience. Sophomore transfer from CC with no varsity experience TE - Freshman who hasn't played football since 6th grade. Junior transfer from CC with no varsity experience RT - Returning letter winner, Junior RG - Has been a rotation of several players. Mainly a senior letter winner from last year who has also taken snaps at center C - Senior with no varsity experience and hasn't played since 9th grade LG - Senior with very limited varsity experience LT - Sophomore with no varsity Experience WR - Senior who hasn't played since 9th grade after suffering a broken neck, A senior who hasn't played football since middle school, A senior who is a former letter winner but only played a handful of games last season after recovering from a surgery I could go through the defense as well, but I think you get the idea. You can say what you want, but Coach Plumley increased the number of kids playing football during a pandemic! As you can see above, he has kids playing football again who haven't played for several years. Rome wasn't built in a day. Our kids need encouragement from their peers, the coaches, the teachers, administration, their parents, and the community. We will never rite the ship if our kids have to see negative comments from former players and prominent members of the Bucyrus Community. Yes, you don't live in Bucyrus anymore, but you certainly are a member of the Bucyrus Community as a former alum. Please try to support our kids, volunteer your time to help them get better (you must have been a stud lineman in your day and all)
