right now edison is tough to judge beat sandusky which is not very good and lost to port clinton 28-7 at home, maybe its better that the chargers on the road, but i got pulled in by the win over sandusky and i got egg on my face with the loss to port clinton.if edison plays like they did against port clinton then willard could pull the suprise. so right now edison is a big ?

I think Willard gets their first win of the season against Edison.
Need to pick them apart with a ton of roll out 5 yard passes and a healthy dose of FB and RB.
Willard by 6.

I don't recall seeing one roll out pass in the first 2 games. I dont think Edison is of the same caliber as Clyde or Huron. However, Willard still has to change something offensively to be competetive for 4 quarters. Like Huron, Edison will focus on stopping the running game. Again, if Willard can't use the pass to keep the defense honest, the Flashes will lose another one. Losing the Meisner kid doesn't help.

I think Willard’s QB can do more across the middle with slants to the receiving core. Everyone know’s the game plan when they play the Flashes, stop the run and win the game. These coaches are smart, need some small successes for that QB and those receivers. Losing the Meisner kid definitely hurt but they still have kids that can step up.

I agree with short slants and possibly some bubble screens. Deep balls aren't going to happen. We just have to use the pass to keep them honest.

Defense slacked last night, boys are gonna need to regroup and forget about this one. Another great effort from the Stevens kid I counted 9-10 from the stands. Very impressive with a guard in his face the whole time.

The heart saw Willard as .500 team. Eyes see it differently
My eyes now see that my device's word correct typed "why" instead of with.

yes battle of the winless and both should remain winless till week 6 when willard travels to vermilion.but first vermilion has road games at huron and edison.willard is at port clinton and home to oak harbor. a good bet that is 0-5 vs 0-5 for week 6.

i found a couple of stats for edison none of willard courtesy of signing my maxpreps account and under edison-willard game and look for video edison recap 3minutes and 9 seconds with stats at the end,for the chargers they had 86 yards passing and 611 yards rushing for a total of 697 yards total offense.theleading rushers for edison were garrett scott 130 yards rushing 3tds and aiden hayward 137 yards 1 td.but the chargers had a lot of depth in the backfield. no stats for willard or score by quarters for each team.
