I am pleased with Galion's play tonight like I said Galion will make a run and defeat any team out there, it's going to be 1985 all over again Uh nope. Honestly, I still can't believe that we get to count this as an actual playoff victory. I agree. Now if they win next Saturday at Bellevue it’s a completely different story.

419bossman.the saying is you brag you snag.just because you played and routed a very bad lutheran west wont make you king of the hill because it wont.lutheran west played in the cvc but they didnt have to play kirtland whos also in the cvc but in other division and didnt play each other.wickliffe and independence handle lutheran west.you in the same situation that clear fork was in when clear fork routed marion harding and then lose to edison, same thing could happen to galion, rolling over hapless lutheran west and now playing bellevue.you dont understand what sbc lake is about.galion would have trouble with columbian, clyde, bellevue and even norwalk. but bellevue plays great defense and galion has not faced a great defens other than shelby and maybe river valley.plus your speed will be negated on offense cause if bellvevue uses ball control and keeps the ball away from your offense then bellevue will be in control.this game will not be a rout but its tough to win BAF(bellevue athletic field)if your tigers take bellevue for granted,it will be a long night for the tigers. in the moac, you play in shootouts,in sbc lake, you play great defense.

After tonight's game I take Galion over any team out there, they can't be stopped no one have seen our speed or our tough defense, Bellevue better watch out the Tigers are coming to town and beat them up I have nothing against Galion, and not to add insult to injury, but it was Schools like the big bad Bellevue Redmen that caused Galion to bolt the NOL.

Not much of worth coming from an Edisonite, whose team squeaked by the fifth place MOAC team.

Says the one with the ignorant ugly mouth.
"Facts are stubborn things".
Is it not a FACT that the Edison/CF game was a squeaker? Is it not a FACT that CF finished fifth in the MOAC?
As I remember it, YOU were the one doing the insulting when you said, "Edison learned more from the big loss to Huron than Clear Fork did from rolling over a terrible DIII Marion Harding."

Unfortunately the superintendent and head football coach were the ones who pushed for that move. Interestingly both are Wynford grads for what it’s worth. Virtually nobody running the district now was around when that all went down. That being said, I think most Galionites were not in favor of leaving the NOL. Bellevue and Tiffin notoriously beat Galion a lot. And both didn’t have a problem running the score up into the 60’s if they wanted. But that never bothered me that much. And it was that much sweeter when we did beat Bellevue/Tiffin. In fact, I would love to see Galion schedule Bellevue OOC. There is an opening next year in week 1 and week 2 will be opening up after next year.

Well...yes and no. Was Galion losing to Bellevue and TC? Yes. They were also experiencing a large drop in enrollment. When I moved to the area Galion had very similar enrollment to the bigger schools in the NOL. A lot of people gave them a hard time about leaving, but in reality it was probably the right move.

But they really tried to sell the switch on the travel aspect. They were not pleased that Fostoria replaced Bucyrus and they replaced a 10 mile drive down route 19 with a 60 mile drive.

Seeing Bellevue people are always whining that no one in the Bay Division will play them, so then they have to play schools an hour+ away.

And both didn’t have a problem running the score up into the 60’s if they wanted. I was just now looking back at some past scores and saw that we did that 5 years in a row from 2003 to 2007. I'd like that too, though I don't see it happening anytime soon unless PC drops us for week 1 (2020 was supposed to be year 2 of that.) I just looked at Arbiter and saw that Edison is our week 2 opponent for 2021 and 2022, which is cool to see since we've never played them before. We also have a week 3 series starting with Shelby next year, which will hopefully continue for years to come.

I was going to say Bellevue-Shelby is a must.
I agree; cool to see backyard 113 matchup with Chargers.
