Not from what I saw Friday night. Huron is small.......very small. That line is not gonna stop anybody. It is what it is. There's trouble in Tigertown. Not gonna be a good year for Tiger football. May take a few years to turn around. Stands looked like an 8th grade game. Student section was the only thing near full. I know that's a big home side, but even with Munafo and Legando being honored, the turnout was pitiful. I heard Legando knew there wasn't much talent coming up the next couple years, and so decided now was a great time to retire. Huron is in a down cycle..........happens to every school............they'll be back, but it may be a few lean years first.

I'm sure this is a sure way for Oak Harbor to lose, by saying what I'm going to say, but I think the Rockets are two scores better, or more than Huron.
Hope I'm right.

I think Legando retired almost solely because he retired from teaching. Always said he wouldn't coach and not teach. I also believe that he knew it would be a good year to transition to Hohler because Hohler and Fortune both have sons in the senior class so there would be a respect factor and seamless transition. His stepping down had nothing to do with lean classes at Huron.

Once again the complete ineptness of mike may is on full display. Sure hope the good folks of OH can gather enough support to find a new head coach

This has to be one of the worst losses of Mike's career, To be out coached by this coaching staff at Huron. Sam is a good coach, it's a few others (coaches) I question, And wearing flip flops on the field ?, Tigers are a bit more talented than to be 1-4. Oak Harbor seemed to have more talent & size than Huron, but didn't use it to their potential. Oak Harbor out played us, while we (Huron) were getting lucky all night, with their turnovers, and our amazing catches. But congratulations to Sam Hohler and the Huron program, We'll take it.

ADs don't fire or hire coaches.

Even though soccer is a semi-contact sport, most who choose to play soccer instead of football don't like to hit or be hit. Some play soccer because thier parents won't let them play football, due to knee injuries and head injuries.

IMHO, soccer is the most boring, worthless sport mankind ever came up with. Watching paint dry is more enjoyable.

From a reliable source several kids are playing soccer simply because they refuse to play for May.

Because they weren't starters? Another reason to play soccer.

ADs don't fire or hire coaches. Then Outsider should've made the argument that school boards hire/fire coaches.

Also heard that there are a couple kids playing fall baseball because they don't want to play for May.
BTW, I never said that ADs hire or fire anyone.

No. Football talented kids. Can't help today's generation. I will never forget my first head coach's, first speech to the team. "I am one person, you are 50 different individuals. ALL of you MUST do it my way. I will treat you all the same. To play, you will do as I say and coach. If you can't accept that, there's the door. We don't need you." The few you talk of chose to walk out the door. The vast majority of the team wants to play football.

The real people to blame are the ones like you who raised them. Show me a bad kid and I'll show you bad parents.
