For all you Tiger haters out there, they’ve proved time and time again that they’re no stroll in the park. After absolutely dumping on the Avon look alikes the Bryan Bears, I think some of you need to shake out the cob webs. Also note the tiger starters played maybe 10 snaps in the second half. Clyde will be a test for the tigers but the fliers will dump it this week. Tigers 33 Fliers 21

I have not seen the Fliers this year, but you can always expect Clyde to have a physical ball club and be one of the most well coached teams in the state. The Tigers should expect this to be their most physical game to date.
I think this is the best Tigers defense we have seen in some time, and I believe Pickett and company upfront will be able to stop Clyde from running all over us. Clyde likes to throw the ball, and i believe we have the best secondary in the area - led by Leh and Jack Mehoff. We seem to cause turnovers each game and have multiple defensive Td’s. I think it will be a close game. I look for the Tigers to rely on their opportunistic defense and great special teams to squeak this one out.
Go Tigers

This was brought up at the Donut Shop this morning - While rather meaningless at this point of the season, the Tigers did “defeat” Clyde in a pre-season scrimmage. Regardless of the result, always good to have film on your opponent.
Go Tigers

Let me remind you if you can't read... The Huron Tigers are 7-0. Why are all of you hyping up a mediocre 5-3 fliers? Last time I checked the year is 2020, but everyone wants to act like Clyde is going to come out like the 1995 DIV 3 state champions led by QB Chud Smetzler and Tight End Jeff-Kellen Winslow. The tigers are going to win this game. They have the home field advantage, and I heard a rumor that Ryan is getting some buck sightings during daylight so you best expect deer to fall in Huron woods this weekend as well.
Go Tigers.

Agree, don’t get me wrong Coach Carter and company are always up for a gritty playoff game, but the fliers have recently lost to a dumpy Norwalk squad I believe in week 5 (who the tigers also took down week 1) we all know how the fliers seem to pull a rabbit out of the hat come playoff time but the tigers are hungry. Looking forward to this week 8 matchup. Cold front coming in bucks will be moving. On a side not my son Cesco made it down to Nashville this weekend to work out with cousin and former U of M quarterback Shae Patterson. Cesco said his hands were raw I’m assuming from the bullets shae was tossing. Don’t be surprised if you see shae suit up on a Sunday here in the near future. Go tigers

Word on the street is ,known tiger hater markmay, has been seen at the Oak Harbor facilities trying to contact the China virus. He will do anything to stop the tigers from winning state, even if that includes contaminating the tigers and ending the season. Word is the H team has a bounty on his head, keep your eyes out, and make sure to keep your distance.
Anyway the tigers are out for blood this week after receiving disrespect over the last 5 years. Tiger town is back to being the Mecca of high school sports in the area and should be dominating the Lake division. As you will see this week, all you tiger haters and you whirlpool freaks be ready for a beat down. 34-21

Known Tiger hater MarkMay has been banned from the DonutShop until the Tigers season has concluded due to his threats to contaminate the team. The H-Team has also added additional coronavirus security measures to ensure no China virus makes its way in to the locker room. I have been told the traditional Thursday night power weenie pot luck has been moved to an undisclosed location this week in order to keep the undesirables away. Stay safe, Go Tigers

Remember boys and girls; try not to feed the wildlife at Sheldon Marsh. thought this was a sports forum? My nephew is an up and coming ball player for the Tigers so I thought I’d get a feel for the atmosphere of SBC competition. Happy to see a good Tiger fan presence on this site, definitely makes me feel a little more at home here. Some interesting talk on this thread. Didn’t know there were so many hunters around Huron, they sure sound dedicated

For 3 quarters Huron was Out Coached & Out played. Especially blowing a 1st and goal, with a Turnover on downs in the 1st half. Then Clyde drives 99 1/2 yards to go up 14-0. No way could this Tiger team be in that High School Nat'l Playoff. Overall it was a good season for our Tigers, Best of luck to Clyde, Win another Championship for area, Please. Huron should be on the phone with St.Paul for next Saturday night down there, And call Perkins to come here after that, To end a great season.
